★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ba Ku Teh is herby Malaysian-style but not overwhelming. Remember to ask for Top up Soup for soup lovers. Vinegar Trotters is surprisingly soft and non-greasy and adored by my Mum. Its dark soya sauce is typically Malaysian style I.e. thick and sweet caramel and go very well with food. One can see that boss put in efforts into slightest details.
Having a meal here is a great way to reminiscence JB food but at comfort of SG.

A good and refreshing change from the usual pepper soup base. Meat is tender and delicious.
Wide variety of ingredients that can be added into the soup.
* Would be great if they could indicate what was already in the soup, to avoid duplicate ordering of the same ingredient.
** Came on a busy weekend night, queue management was messy, with different staff indicating different instructions. Some said wait outside, some said find your own table.
Food was good and covered up for the issues

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ honestly quite shocked with the portion i received when i ordered a takeaway. it was smaller than the usual takeaway box and the portion was at best half filled.
couldnt count 2 pieces of small pork ribs, some roasted pork and small pieces of ladyfinger- topped with some shreds of cuttlefish. taste wise it was probably okay but for the price point i highly doubt i would be coming back if this the portion i get.

Had a great lunch together with the aromatic 香片.
Staffs are friendly and refills and request are sealed with swiftly.
Food wise 5 stars
Price wise 4 stars, could be a little more affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herbal bak kut teh, the meats are tender and their soup is tasty. You can always ask for soup top up if u still want more.
Its great to order chinese tea to go with your bak kut teh order.
But, its abit pricy.
Worth a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are actually a few eatery there which are good. This a heart warming and comforting food on a empty day.
Lady serving us Only woke up when she nearly spill the chicken onto us. Yes, some sauce spilled on our clothes. She switched and turn into a very nice smiling girl (totally no more tired, bochap black face). Wished they were so nice and awake earlier so such thing will not happen in the first place.

Herbal soup was flavorful . The dark herbal ones not the white pepper soup base.
There are generous free refills of soup which is nice.
The toppings are slightly expensive but servings size is acceptable.
Tried the Prawn dumpling- Hei Zou . Not bad !
Overall worth a visit .
