Benefits provided to NUS students, but from my experience the Staffs were unfriendly and the place is always crowded with long waiting time

Have been here twice for dislocation, and am extremely thankful to Dr Patrick Tan for his thorough explanations and help rendered. Waiting time is very reasonable, even for non-emergency follow ups :)

Very long waiting time for pre-admission test. Registered at 2pm for a 230pm slot and its 520pm n not done. Should learn a thing or 2 from the polyclinics on queuing system. Most time spent waiting. And at the cashier was told more payment has to be made for an extra test which was not informed prior? Poor instructions and more waiting. Will give -5 stars if possible

Came here today for my pre-admission checkup. Staff were friendly except the woman manning the x-ray machine. She came off as very cold and unnecessarily unpolite making me feel very uncomfortable. Exuded very unprofessional behaviour. If you don’t like your job, just quit. Simple as.

I am very grateful for free/subsidised healthcare at UHC. I’ve been following up with my doctor over a thyroid issue for nearly 2 years, and have never needed to pay for consultation nor medication. The staff are friendly and familiar after awhile. Waiting times can be long so be sure to go early.

The clinic sees a lot of footfall so I understand that there are considerable delays in seeing the doctor. I was in the clinic for close to two hours today for a ten minute consultation. The issue though is that the GPs at the clinic are not quite interested in or capable of diagnosis. They ask the basic minimum questions, not very helpful. I was there for a skin issue which was not even closely inspected but brushed off. The clinic has a bunch of doctors who should have retired years ago.

As mentioned by other reviews, doctor in room 3 is really super inexpertise, she doesn’t know anything about your disease. I had food poisoning and feel super stomachache and dizzy, she asked me to test on my blood sugar and prescribed me anti-acid medicine. Seriously??? That’s what you do for food poisoning? Previously I had liver problem, and went to her for testing on liver damage markers. She says she can’t prescribed me the blood test because I don’t have previous report showing I have liver damage. So I went to other clinic for blood test. And this time, she asked me to wait for another 3 months and do a CT scan to see the damage profile while I already told her my previous condition and showed her blood report. If it’s not insurance, who would come to this kind of clinic????!!! When I was almost fainting and still waiting for her outside her room, she told me that if I can’t wait, I better don’t come to this clinic as they have over 200 patients everyday. This doctor’s name is Tan Ee Ling. Please try to avoid her.

I was treated here every other day for about 2 weeks for dressing. The service was very professional, and the nurses made me feel right at home. I almost looked forward to coming here, even though some of the wound cleanings were painful at time. Can't thank the kind people here enough, all the best!
