If you were thinking to apply a credit card, UOB provides the least benefit yet the worst service among other bank. Better think twice before you want to waste your precious time on this bank

Please address this asap. I applied for UOB ONE Account and ONE Credit Card online on 27 November 2018 and went down to Raffles City Branch on 11 December 2018 to submit further documents to Service Manager Gary LEE Jun Rui. There has been no update after 2 weeks until I called the hotline today that UOB informed me that no Debit Card has been issued even my account with SGD1k deposit has been opened on 11 December 2018 (and asked me to go down to branch again to get it). There was no instruction on internet banking as well. To make the matter worse, when being asked about the status of my credit card application, the staff told me my credit card application was not successful and lied to me about sending SMS (I didn't receive any) and then changed his words to say that a letter will be sent out in 5-7 working days [1st lie]. When asked at the branch whether my documents were sufficient to get the card in 1 week, a staff of card department said yes and promised me that I could receive the credit card soon [2nd lie]. Even though I have been holding credit cards of HSBC (Advanced), AMEX (Cash Back), SCB (Cash Back), DBS (Altitude - cancelled) and Citi (PremierMiles) with NO SINGLE MISS OR LATE PAYMENT in the PAST 4 YEARS, UOB decided to reject my application with no update, telling me lies (not one but two), not willing to reach out to address any concerns and provide no reasons for the decision. Please look into how you treat new customer, how you manage communications, whether IT system is working, whether you're encouraging staff to tell lies, and whether your assessment of credit facilities is correct.

I was having a bad experience at the bank but the branch manager got involved and resolved and issues. Excellent customer service.

The customer service at this establishment is beyond appalling. Staff does not care about new customers trying to open a new account. Besides waiting there for over 2 hours after telling them my funds will be transferred from overseas the lady just continued to pressure me to get 2k from my credit card. After I did so she did not want to explain what sort of accounts she had opened for me and when I asked I was told I could read the brochure. Honestly I don't know why I opened an account with them, I must have been desperate and too annoyed. Don't recommend at all

The service here is horrible. Had I read the reviews before I came over, I would have went to another branch. Generally, the front desk lady was unhelpful but most frustratingly, she forgot to tell me an important information required to open the bank when I asked and made me come back with a new hard copy - she unapologetically said itโ€™s her fault but never apologized. UOB while its offers may be good, I would strongly recommend you to go to a different branch. Update: a nicer employee overheard my complaint to a friend that came along with me, he spoke to the manager about it and made an exception for me. However, it would be better if they can provide a better service before being difficult in the first place.

One of the worst banks in Singapore. They hardly care about customer issues and least concern about credit card fraudulent and suspecious transactions. The UOB Credit Card is one of the worst CCs in the Singapore try avoid using it at all costs. The online chatbot , email and customer executives take tons of information from you and at end there is no follow up call or email. My card was stolen in May 2021 and was used by the thief and till now there is not single call from UOB explaining me the suspecious transactions.

Counter service is very slow. Waited 50 mins and now still waiting just to change notes. There are many staff standing around doing nothing much. Very inefficient and unproductive branch of UOB. However there is one counter lady at counter 5 extremely friendly and very patient toward naggy elderlies. Thumb up for her alone.
