service staff was slightly curt to us regarding the queuing process, but food as usual was very good. Favourite of the night was the prawn pancake

Oh yeah..let's DTF! Din Tai Fung, of course! My go-to place for XLBs. There are many branches across Singapore but the quality varies quite a bit. My granddad is a very picky eater and he only approves of 2 outlets. That is Paragon and Raffles City. This isn't our first visit to Raffles City outlet and they didn't disappoint once again. All dishes were spot on. And the service was impeccable. We were served by a Chinese lady who was very attentive. She ensured our tea was always filled, empty plates were cleared and answered our queries and requests very politely.

Dine here several times, always packed and long queue during peak hours. The egg fried rice is my favourite, so eggy and fragrant. The yearly seasonal chilli crab xiao long bao is still as awesome and delicious. The cucumber however, was not as good on my latest visit. The sauce was watery and diluted, couldn’t coat the cucumber and didn’t impart much flavor so the 2 elements tastes separated. Overall still an enjoyable dining experience so will come again, and hope standard of the cucumber cold dish will improve.

Authentic Dim Sum This is I'm fact a chain throughout singapore. The raffle city location is extra busy. Prepare for a long wait to be seated or get there for a late lunch. Great selection. Watch how chefs make dumplings is entertaining. Not the cheapest place

If you've been to Din Tai Fung in Taiwan, you might be a bit disappointed here. It's still good but not really on the Taiwanese level. The staff was very hardworking though which I praise them for. The beef noodle soup was not bad. The meat was tender but the noodles were a tad too soft. The broth was very beefy and tasted really good when I added a splash of vinegar. The chicken soup was really nice too. The price is not cheap here and I was not impressed by the mandatory 10% service charge. So with tax it's 17% added on top of the price that you see in the menu. Still a good choice for Taiwanese food but be aware of the 10% "service charge".

Really delicious - especially the chicken one. I can‘t eat pork so the variety isn‘t that big when it comes to the dumplings. The green vegetable ones where delicious as well. The other veggie one with pumpkin wasn’t my cup of tea. But for pork fans there are a lot of different ones and scrimp ones as well.

This is a great place for dumplings - our favourite. Actually, any Din Tai Fung in Singapore is wonderful - the dumplings are made fresh on location. If you’re eating them for the first time, go slowly, as the broth inside is boiling hot when they’re just served. When you arrive, there’s normally a queue of between 20-40 minutes, so just grab a number and then go and do some shopping in the mall. They will send you a message, and you even get an automatic phone call when it’s your turn. The service is fast and friendly. We loved the pork and rice, the fried spinach, and also the duck. Not to mention the spring rolls. The free flow jasmine tea is delicious. You can’t go wrong!
