Judging by the negative reviews here, I guess I was lucky to have a positive experience here at VCA. I waited for about 5 minutes (walk-in) and the doorman was very polite. Isaac Lim was patient and shared with me which item suited me better, etc. It was much appreciated since I was there alone and couldn't seek a second opinion. He noticed I was carrying other stuff and offered a bigger bag so that I could fit all my lobang inside too.

Update on 13/6/22: the VCA team has yet to β€œget in touch” with me to follow up despite saying so. I visited this VCA boutique at MBS on the 19 March 2022. Desmond served me and asked me what I was interested in. I requested to see the sweet Alhambra (which is the smallest) size necklace which was what I was interested in. He immediately told me that the sweet Alhambra necklaces were out of stock islandwide and commented that the sweet Alhambra necklace was initially made for children. I thought that was just a passing remark but he very quickly added that most people who bought the sweet Alhambra usually regret their purchase and will eventually come back to buy the vintage Alhambra (which is slightly bigger and also more expensive). I tried to explain that I was attracted to the sweet size because of how dainty it was and I felt that it suit my frame better. He then said β€œOh it’s too bad that it is out of stock then”. Subsequently I asked if I could see the vintage Alhambra necklace in Carnelian and MOP and he brought them out to show me. After putting on the necklace, I then asked if there was a table mirror that I can use to see how it looked like on my frame. He then pointed to the mounted mirror and said I can walk over to take a look over there if I’d like instead. Before I left the shop, I mentioned that I was actually looking to purchase something as a present for myself. He then added β€œOh so you came in with the intention to purchase?”. Throughout the whole interaction, Desmond was very aloof and seemed disinterested to help me with my shopping experience. I was neither rude nor demanding throughout but instead faced comments that were very disingenuous. As the piece that I was looking for was not available, I left my email and contact details just in case it came back in stock. A week later, I visited the VCA boutique at Takashimaya and was served by Yen. She was very kind and brought out a few pieces of the what I was looking for me to choose from. This made me wonder, when Desmond at MBS said that there was no more stock islandwide, was he lying about it? Yen at Takashimaya was also very attentive and brought out a table mirror for me to try the pieces sitting down, instead of directing me to a wall mounted mirror like Desmond did. I was so happy to be able to find the piece I wanted and managed to purchase it on the same day. I hesitated about posting this review for a while but decided to post it to warn others about my experience. Overall, I love the workmanship of VCA’s jewellery and they are indeed very beautiful, but the experience at MBS was very off putting and I hope nobody will face the same experience as I did.

Great customer service from Desmond and his team. He explained clearly and provided good advice before my family concurred the choice of the product. He wasn't pushy in the selling the product. Our intention only to get the pendant at first. However he convinced us with the ear rings and we just proceed. Bottled drinks and dark chocolate from Paris provided as well. Great customer service and sales job. keep it up.

Awesome service from SA - Desmond Soh @ MBS. He’s super patient and courteous. His vast knowledge of the products is remarkable. Very happy with my purchase. Will definitely visit the boutique again. It would have been perfect if his female colleagues practice the same kind of service standard. They were stern looking and never even smile when you had eye contact w them.

VCA SA gave me the impression that they are only interested to serve VIP (those who look rich). I bought my first piece from Takashimaya branch. To be honest, the SA was not quite attentive, just probably because it's just an Sweet Alhambra necklace I was purchasing from him. Since I have his contact I asked for Sweet Alhambra bracelet and was told it's available, I rushed to MBS and came to know that somebody is looking at it now and have intention to purchase it. I don't understand why VCA has to limit their stock at boutique and make customers running around. Eventually I decide to just place my order thru e-boutique. The whole process was a breeze. Between I've visited Ion branch as well thru appointment, the lady SA who served me seems impatient as well. Seriously I don't get this kind of treatment from Cartier.

Horrible service. Smug , impatient and highly unpleasant to be around. A Lady in shoulder length hair ( too disgusted to get her name) left such a bad taste in my mouth. She declared that she would only help me look up an item if I was going to purchase it. How realistic is that? Why would one purchase something they have not seen? It defeats the purpose of going to the store in the first place . She continued to answer my questions with so much annoyance, I could almost see the veins popping from her neck. Employees like her give your company such a bad rep. Seriously consider hiring some random person from the street. They will probably do a better job. The bad taste she left in my in my mouth still lingers till today .

Staff is so rude and worst ever experience. We brought a 8 month baby and waited like 30 to 40 minutes to enter the shop. The staff didn’t let us in saying that we can only come in after one team leaves. We couldn’t wait any longer because of a baby and left. After 20 seconds, we saw the ladies(without a baby) after us entered the shop. We were shocked and asked what just happened and the door staff didn’t say anything. This is worst experience ever and we were so shocked that this kind of discrimination can happen in Singapore… i will never buy again Van Cleef… awful experience. Really really awful!!

Had a great experience shopping at the store, warm and stellar service by Ivy, who was patient and accommodating throughout. I appreciated the fact that she and the team went out their way to ensure I got my anniversary gift in the nick of time. Afterwards, I forgot to request for a gift card and I went back so another gentlemen (whom I didn't get his name) gave me a beautiful card without hesitation, even without my purchase in hand. Thank you to the team once again.
