#WeeNamKee offers one of the best #CurryFishHead i know of. The curry is thick and flavourful. Their #ChickenRice is decent (prefers their #RoastedChicken), and their #DeepFriedPrawnRoll is good too. The #ClaypotSeafoodTofu is just nice, maybe because it is not ate on the spot (via delivery as no dine in now).

Usually here for their #CurryFishHead, but the kids had requested #ChickenRice for lunch today. It is decent and I considered theirs as the best in #JurongPoint.

β β β β β The place is clean, staff attentive, happy they hire older generation! Roasted chicken is good, smooth and flavourful. Rice is also nice, just nicely cook and flavoured! However the roast pork and charsiew...major dissapointment. Roast pork skin is too thin, not fatty enough, and dryyyyy. Char siew is lean meat kind and bone dry!!!!

β β β β β Chicken rice is not as great as the on I tried in United Square. Wee Nam Kee Fried rice seems like yang zhou fried rice. The roasted pork was served the wrong serving size and was returned back to topped it up. Wee Nam Kee pork chop was impressive and worth the try. Overall not bad, but there is too many flies here.

β β β β β Had lunch with my family. We ordered half size of chicken with white and roasted chicken, hot plate tofu, curry fish head and sotong yu tiao.
Generally, it tasted not bad and price is affortable in the restaurant. And it doesn't have service charge.

β β β β β This was my first time trying Wee Nam Kee and sad to say I was disappointed. Visited the outlet on a weekend night, but the place was rather quiet as compared to the other restaurant beside it.
The chicken rice was fragrant and you could taste every grain coated in that chicken fat. The steamed chicken was decent, meat wasn't particularly juicy nor was it dry.
The ginger sauce and chili sauce were well prepared, which help to cut the heaviness of the rice with the tang and spice.
However at this price, I feel like you could get a better prepared chicken rice at a kopitiam.

β β β β β I bought a vegetable chicken rice set and a drink. I requested to add chicken for my protein intake, and I was told either I add $2 or $4.20. So I chose $4.20. In the end it came 7 slices of chicken breast meat (see picture). I asked the staff ehether that plate cost $4.20 and she said so.
In all, I think its overpriced. But their customer service is good I must say.

β β β β β Hi Wee Nam Kee, has been your regular customer for nearly 10 years or more. Initial with your main branch in Marina was great. Food, services and which is value for money too.
After your closing in Marina. The Jurong point outlet standard chicken taste was rather dropped.
Recently, on 08/01/22 when to your Jurong point branch serving was very bad.
1.The staff auntie serving chilli, ginger and soy sauce throwing the plates to the table causing spill on the table.
2.The chicken is just 4 pieces of chicken compared to the previous. (Perhaps cutting cost?)
3.The food (Dumpling soup is rather cold)
4.The Dumpling inside got sort of wire. (I believe I am kind enough didnβt report to NEA)
As I bring my friends(guests) to try your food and didnβt want to look bad where your food is un-hygienic.
Please view the photo as evidence. I am still considering reporting to NEA. This is not just services; the food is rather un-hygiene.
