Best dentist I've encountered in my life of 53 years . I'm 53 by the way , very professional dentist . Straightforward charges which is affordable in today's standard Y2019. Compared to those in shopping malls who charge way higher I've experienced Scaling + 2 tooth fillings cost me $300

This is my 1st visit to Winston Dental Surgery at Hougang. For years I am one who will give nightmares to any dentist in all my previous visits.. But this time with Dr. Winston he kept me in conversation throughout as he cleansed my teeth by using a simple tool ...taking out all the plaques on my teeth n blood clots in my gums..and surprisingly not much pain..but it was bloody n he assured me that's good for my gums n to check for decays as he digs. Results.. It feels so good n clean.. all blockages cleared. If you dare to give it a try.... For me, already booked my nx appt to see him again in 6 mths.

Very skillful dentist with good services! He does his best in assisting with my toothache previously although he explained the complexity and says he will do his best without the surgical option first. Prior to knowing about him, other clinics mentioned there was no way to help with my toothache and the only option was root canal. Also, the filling done at other clinics for my other tooth could not hold after few months. 3 years later, everything he done for me is still good! V thankful my wife referred me to visit him! Do book with him in advanced as usually, his schedule is packed!

Nice Dr Winston Lim (in his 50s). Tried to save my upper left tooth decaying with hole. Filling was done quickly and quality looks like brand new tooth.

If I were to imagine what the perfect dentist was, it would Dr Lim. He is skilled, considerate and charges reasonable prices.

My appointment was 4.00 pm but I was asked to go earlier if I could. I arrived at the clinic at 3.55 pm but was made to wait till 4.15 pm (which defeated the whole purpose of going earlier). When I informed Dr Winston Lim that my upper right incisor (which has been crowned) was sensitive and hurt, he told me to go back to the dentist who did the crowning for me as he did not want to spoil the expensive material used for the crown. Not sure if this is the usual practice but I didn't argue. During my dental treatment, Dr Lim MANUALLY cleaned my teeth with the scraper. He went at my teeth like they were his enemies and did not let up even when I signalled that it was painful. Never in my life have I been under the hands of a dentist who cleaned my teeth so vehemently and it hurt like hell. His reason was: "There are no issues with your teeth, so I clean it manually." OK... After that, I could not chew on both sides of my mouth cos it was painful, so had to skip dinner. While the fee was reasonable and Dr Lim was friendly, I don't think I'll be going back to him again. First and last time...
