Best Korean barbecue restaurant in Singapore

Y	Yvonne Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yums! I came here for lunch with my hubby. Our favourite was the spicy BBQ set. It comes with a bowl of rice and soup (plus banchan - refillable) and is good for 2 pax (depends on your usual portion too). We couldn’t eat much of the fried chicken (I find that find there’s more batter/skin than meat, it is super crunchy and tiring to bite after a while ?) and dabao the balance. The lunch sets are really awesome deals. Might be back again when I have craving! There’s also BBQ, gimbap, ramen, army stew etc in the menu. Wonderful bapsang at IMM consists of the restaurant (left) and small Korean mart (right). It was convenient to pop by next door for me to grab a small pack of gochugaru (only $3.50 - I can never use up those $20+ 1kg bags). There’s no banchan sold at the mart unlike at their Suntec branch.

The food is worth it as you can see from the pic, there are alot of side dish that is refillable and the Pork collar for BBQ is quite thick and fresh. The service from the Auntie (Shirley) that serve us was wonderful and attentive as well. Will definitely patronize again! Restaurant @ IMM branch

Price of the seafood pancake is a little higher compared to Suntec, but it also seems bigger in size. I am very satisfied with the steamed egg and chicken gimbap, while I will prefer the pancake to be thinner, crispier in the centre. Overall nice experience and friendly staff who offered to top up banchan.

Service crew team is friendly and willing to assist. On 6th November, we ordered their Set D - $72 set menu which is good for 2-3 diners. It comes with 4 types of meats which are beef sirloin, pork belly, marinated pork collar & marinated chicken and soup of your choice & steamed egg and a bowl of rice. This is a good choice for diners that consume beef. The meats are tender after cooking. While on 13th November, we order Set B - $59 set menu which is good for 2 diners. It comes with 3 types of meata of pork belly, marinated pork collar & marinated chicken and soup of your choice & steamed egg and a bowl of rice. Generous refillable servings of banchan (side dishes). It will be a perfect meal if the operator offers free flow of water. Definitely will visit again.
Q	QT hehehaha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was awesome! Staff could serve/appear with more enthusiastic though. The pork cutlet tasted the same as I’ve tried the outlet in Suntec~ Just that the amount of salad was too much for me. The kimchi soup was flavourful & very nice to eat while it maintained hot all the time. The side dishes are able to refill for free (except the noodles) which was very nice~ Will recommend & eat again :)
S	Stella Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had their lunch sets of spicy beef BBQ and sundubu-jjigae (ham & sausage) which were of very decent portions (below $15). The soup set itself can definitely feed 2 pax easily. The spicy BBQ beef is sweeter than it’s spicy so it depends on personal preference. The sundubu definitely packed enough spice and was such a delight to have with rice. Their banchan are also refillable and tasted pretty good. The kimchi had a bitter aftertaste. Only flaw about the gimbap is that it lacked a bit of flavour. Slightly more bland than others that we’ve had, but the portion was super filling. Staff was also friendly and attentive. Food was also served swiftly. Good place for a casual meal!
J	J Li on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Seafood pancake, Gimbap, and Mul Nengmyun is not bad and the portion is big. I saw several table with unfinished food. Although it is not their main dish and signature, but being a korean restaurant banchan is a basic but i find it very disappointing and it is inconsistent. Banchan served are different from every table. Tteokbokki can give a miss even as a side to go with the bbq. Dont waste the calories.

My wife and I decided to order their BBQ set and we were surprised by the portion of food at the price we paid for it - the food in my photos was just from one set! The meat themselves were quite so-so but the pork belly was delicious and savoury. There's also the many free side dishes that are refillable. Restaurant was busy at the time we arrived but the staff were quite attentive nonetheless. Had a pleasant dining experience and wouldn't mind coming back here.
