Without a doubt one of the best Youtiao I've ever bought in Singapore! Very soft yet crispy, little bit hard to explain, best to try it yourself.

Stall #01-43 @216 Bedok North Street 1 Market and Food Centre. Their you tiao is exceptional good and tasty. Very light, (not heavy on the flour), fluffy and crispy. Sells out very fast (before noon). Goes well with any coffee or tea. Must try. Update (Nov 9, Sat) : Visited the stall again today. Really very good youtiao. One is not enough. Bought two pieces (at 80 cents each). Had them with Kopi-C Kosong.

You tiao from another stall with long queue (see picture for stall) super good. This is 100% the lightest you tiao I’ve had ever. I feel like I can eat 10 of these. The dough is so soft as uncle handled it! No wonder Uncle only needs to open twice a week!

Located at Blk 216 Bedok North hawker centre, this stall only opens on two days of the week and most of their items are sold out before 10.30am. Stall owner and helpers are very friendly. You Tiao is crispy but not greasy and if you are lucky, you can get the charcoal and green tea to try. It's quite good and interesting! My favourites are the salted bun with glutinous rice $1 and salted bun with sweet red bean paste $1. They are crispy, not greasy and the combination is very good! These two items are often sold out by 10ish in the morning. The butterfly bun was good too, with a nice sesame fragrant and very crispy. You really have to go there early if you want to try it all!
