Personally I really like the Signature Pan Fried Dumpling (Guo Tie) but my dining companions felt that it was average. They really liked the Chives Dumplings (Shui Jiao) though. Main reason being that the skin was super thin and soft, almost melting on your mouth but still able to hold the fillings within. The pork inside is juicy, well seasoned and of you like chives, it does elevates the overall flavour of the dumplings. The herbal tea egg is okay, nothing very memorable. Hot and Sour soup was too sour for my liking. Soya Milk was decent. It it Soya Milk (Dou Jiang) and not Soya Bean Drink (Dou Hua Shui). The food still taste decent despite taking away and consuming one hour later. Worth a try!

I ordered the special pork noodle bowl and the shrimp dumplings for takeaway. The food wasn’t impressive visually but tasted fresh, rich and flavorful. The prices were fair as well.

This is a takeaway only place. Ordered their signature gyoza, first the skin is too thick and tough, secondly the meat tasted like mock meat. Didn't quite enjoy the food. On side note, their soy milk is legit not bad, fresh and tasty.

Ordered the original pan fried dumpling and cold soy milk. Consume the dumpling fresh and hot taste really good. The filling is juicy and the skin is crispy, not too oily. The cold soya milk is thick with soy bean fragrant and not too sweet. Not recommend to tabao home as the dumpling can become soggy and lose it taste.

Chinese brand with Taiwanese taste and texture. Originally I mixed it up with another Taiwan brand 八方云集, and found it not the same. Overall:4/5, dumpling is normal and as it is new open, the queue is king! the soy milk is unexpectedly good!

The queue wasn't really long but the waiting time was. There were like 5 people in front of me but while ordering told me to wait 40 minutes. Think because they just opened the items on the menu was still limited. There was a double mixed option which I chose to mix the signature and chives they told me it wasn't allowed because they don't allow mixing yet??? In the end just ordered the signature pan fried dumplings and was really a great deal to add $1 to get a combo with an egg and a drink. They also told me it wasn't possible to pick any drink from the menu only default Soya bean. Tried to find a spot to try the dumplings as I didn't want them cold and soggy if I were to bring home. I felt that the dumplings are really normal and nothing to rave about, surprising the egg and the soya bean were the more enjoyable items in the combo! Loved the flavour of the tea on the egg, and the Soya bean tasted so different as the texture is so thick and smooth and it's only mildly sweet. To me the dumplings really didn't make it as the star of the meal. One thing though, the staff were very polite.

Tried Yu Ba Fang’s signature dumplings under the staff member’s recommendation (it is the first on the menu) and it turned out really good! Delicious dumplings with thin skin and generous fillings. The ginger vinegar dip that came along was great too, with thinly julienned ginger that set itself apart from some other dumplings shops. The other items from the menu that we’ve tried were really good too. Took one star off for the fact that everything else had some form of chili padi in it. I understand for hot and sour soup since it is supposed to be spicy. But even the luroufan (braised meat rice) and luroumian (braised meat noodles) meat gravy had chili padi in it. For that, it makes Yu Ba Fang an unlike candidate for a family meal to me as a mother. There’s no main that’s suitable for my three year old. Would highly recommend that Yu Ba Fang provide non spicy options for their very delicious mains!

Tasty Taiwanese Dumplings! Not as good as the ones in Taiwan and is on the expensive side but is good enough since there’s not a lot of options around. Dumplings are tasty but is leaning towards bland. At $10 you only get 8 pieces and to be honest is pricy at around $1.20 per piece. Its only take-away so most the the time the dumplings are already cold and soggy by the time you eat them. Service is efficient and they do cook the dumplings to order. Not bad for that Taiwanese dumpling craving.
