Not much of fish selection. No Discus, No puffers, Angel fishes are very few breeds only. Feeder fishes are usually out of stock if you need to buy for your fishes. Not much live stock. Hope to have more fish products that they carry. Thankfully there is a fish shop nearby Taman Jurong Latest update as of 11 May 22: Discus is made available but very expensive . $15! Hope you have a red arowana to purchase. Fei Feng is too big, waiting for smaller ones.

Bought 2 water filter from this store for my tank. 1) as first time owners, we asked for advise on the size of filter to purchase, stating the size of our tank. The person in the store advised us to get smallest filter. Within 3 days the water was murky and we decided that we have to get a bigger filter. we asked why the store keeper advised us to get the small filter previously. the person in store asked us who advised us tho he’s the one who advised us to get the small filter, stating that it’s sufficient. 2) we ultimately purchased the bigger filter thereafter. However, the water filter motor stopped working after around 1.5 months. When we bring it back to the shop, the shop keeper (another person) checked back with his boss and stated that it could be that the motor overheated. I am not a guru but I’ve asked around and the water filter wasn’t suppose to spoil so easily - people have been using the same filter for years. yes we left the filter on but isn’t that what the filter is supposed to do? In fact. The boss of the shop mentioned that we must have tempered with the filter if not it wouldn’t spoil. Honestly, I’m buying a bigger filter to save time cleaning the tank every few days since with the smaller filter it takes only 3 days for the water to be murky. Plus I do not wish for my fishes to be in a dirty environment which can be harmful to them. Where do I find time or rather, why would I temper w the filter. So in conclusion, the shop didn’t want to take any responsibility for wrong advise, spoiled filter and even mentioned that I temper with the filter. That’s why the filter spoiled. Up to you to judge whether you want to patronise.

Owner is not receptive to negoatiation and not a good seller. He does not know how to build regular customer base relationship nor giving extra discounts to regular customers. Customers who spent almost 100 per week at the store. Some fishes at the store here are overpriced yet still cannot sell. Discus $15.00 for 1 Tiger pleco - $7.00 for 1 Does not have live feeder like frogs. Not much fish apparels nor products. Most only carry API only. I will not buy from here again and rather go to the 428 clementi aquarium stalls where they have better customer services plus I don't mind travelling the distance to have a better service.

Pros: 1. You can find essential aquarium items to start a hobby + extra advanced beginner stuff here 2. Finally an aquarium store in taman jurong shopping ctr after so long 3. Aquascaping tools and substrates can be found but little to no aquatic plants sold here Cons: 1. Common fishes can be found here. If you’re looking at more ‘niche’ fishes, look elsewhere 2. Co2 system sold here but doesn’t sell glassware. 3. Older staff/owner (?) have condescending tone when asked about products and advice on home setup. No major issues with other staff. Advise to customers: Do your research and know what you want to get before hand. Ask only if you don’t know where items are placed.

After reading Google reviews on AquaPetz Kulture, I didnt expect much when I first visited the shop. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service! Ms Shalini (the staff) is knowledgeable, helpful and make her customers feel comfortable and welcome. She is definitely an asset to the company and AquaPetz Kulture has just got itself another regular customer. Thanks Ms Shalini for the excellent service and hope to be served by you again when I visit the shop soon. Btw. Customers can sign up for membership to get 10% discount. Just need to provide name, last 5 digit of NRIC, contact number and address. No membership payment. I also find the items reasonably priced.
