Ascentia Sky - 1 Alexandra View

Had a dinner hosted by my mate who stayed in this condo. Super convenient location which is barely few minutes walk from the Redhill MRT station (green line). I was told that this condo is 45 floors Hugh; with the highest being the penthouse. They have really nice unblocked view of the entire Central South area where my friend's unit is. Pool looks extremely huge too (lap pool I believe)? The only downside is that the rubbish chute is inside the unit itself, and had some uneasy stories about cockroaches coming in the middle of the night. Otherwise, a good condo to be in.

We moved in Aug 2021. Love the entire vibe and feel of this condo. Till now haven't faced any problems with the security as mentioned in other reviews. Have always got my deliveries on time and without hassle

Amazingly serene condominium with ample and well maintained surroundings. Security is tight and the place is a great habitat.

Location to stay is brilliant, management team still needs some improvement to provide a comfortable and safe ground for residents. Festive decor needs to be replaced and boosted

This resident of ASCENTIA SKY can afford to own a Porsche, be a member of well known Country Clubs like SICC and KEPPEL but inconsiderate / irresponsible enough to park in 2 lots??? You are an alumni of John Hopkins University? Please go back to driving school or do you even have a license?

South facing condos are facing a massive construction site with works continuing until late into the evening, sometimes until 10pm. The pool (including 2 bbq units) of the property wereclosed for 4 months for "repairs & repainting" (15/04/19 - 15/08/19). Yes 4 months! There are also general repairs being carried out that will last 11 months. The repairs in this place never ever stop. There is always something wrong. All this for a condo that was completed in 2015!?!?!?. The place has so many defects in and around it that clearly indicate poor workmanship from when the condo was built. Security is also a joke. Anyone can get in and out of the place without question. The condo feels more like an HDB rather than a so-called "luxury condominium". There is nothing luxury about this place. If it wasnt for the convenience of being placed 150 metres from the MRT, the place would be empty. Regret the day I signed a lease for this place. I am surprised at how this place has so many positive reviews. No doubt the majority are bogus 5 Star reviews from property agents and landlords. Tenants beware - avoid this place at all costs.

Security is very lax. Strangers can come in easily unchecked or pretend to be visitors. There is frequent rubbish dumping in the condo complex which are perpetrated by condo crashers. The dumping is not limited to only common areas, even within lifts and water feature areas as well. Some malfunctions are not immediately addressed. Such a pity, because the property is at a very convenient location with a very good size given the property age and location. This "private" property certainly has public housing feel.

One of the worst building management I ever met in Singapore: not flexible, not friendly, not helpful. The rules in the building are created to make all people worse, delivery is organized so badly (limited hours, limited access to the floor with lift, limited height of vans allowed etc) that it makes moving a nightmare. Even a simple delivery makes a problem as security does not want to allow anyone in if the addressee is not at home, and no deliveries after office hours! Utter stupidity is a key principle of management of this building. Avoid staying at this building at any cost, otherwise you will regret it all time until you get a chance to move out.
