β β β β β Don't let the tacky decor fool you, the pancakes here are actually quite legit. Our order was just the original pancakes with added grilled bananas and ice cream and it was quite the enjoyable dessert! Can't speak for the rest of the menu but at the very least their pancakes are good. Will return

β β β β β Last night we visited Beyond Pancake at City Square for our diner. The place wasn't packed and the seating was safely spaced out .
Looking at the menu, indeed as befitting the name, there are many more other food besides pancakes.
We had three different pancakes of Le poulet chicken, flapjacks blueberries and a big breakfast platter plus a teriyaki chicken chop. The food didnt disappoint!. The pancakes were freshly made upon orders and were nice . Service was decent and the prices were slightly above average. Overall, we enjoyed a delightful meal.

β β β β β I ordered my pancakes and baked truffle creamy pasta via grab food today.
Never expect the pancakes to be fluffy and taste like homemade.
Wish to have stack of pancakes when dine-in open next week.
The baked pasta on point! Itβs was so creamy and yummy. The portion is quite big for me. Not a fan of truffle due to the strong gas smell but I was craving for one today. I thought they pasta taste will be so so since the main dishes about pancakes. However, the pasta taste surprisingly amazing.
Perhaps you guys can improve on your packing for take away orders.
Overall the food is tasty ?

β β β β β I like pancakes but in SG it is not so common to find good pancakes (Mac is so-so but it isn't all-day). So when I came across this shop, I just had to try it.
Decided to go for their mains (savory) pancakes. Tried the Gourmet Flapjacks and Salmon Ahumado.
Gourmet Flapjacks is basically blueberry pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs, baked beans, and tater tots. The blueberry pancakes were just a lil crispy on the edges, and soft and fluffy inside. Great texture. I think I just found my comfort food that I have nv known before. Also, no idea warm blueberries tasted so good. On the other hand though, I think it would be even better if there were a lil bit more blueberries per pancake, like 2 - 3 more scattered around each pancake. The scrambled eggs were a nice complement to the dish.
Salmon Ahumado is a whole different beast. The pancakes in this dish were mixed with corn, and came with a side of smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, and sour cream. This dish's pancakes' texture is just like the previous, but with a occasional light crunch of corn kernels. This made it taste like corn bread, which was great. Smoked salmon and sour cream had always gone well together, but with the pancakes, it was a party. Love it.
I also had their Hazelnut flavored cappuccino, and Cinnamon flavored cappuccino. They were nice but nothing really outstanding about them.
Overall, the pancakes were almost perfect, and it was a really satisfying meal. Will definitely come back for more. Maybe will try the dessert pancakes next time.

β β β β β Tried this restaurant with burpple Beyond, 1 for 1 main and drink. Baked pasta was very good and didn't take long at all. The lamb bolognese tasted better than it looks. Coffee was decent as well. Great and friendly service staff who were attentive. Would definitely recommend!

β β β β β Honestly surprised at how good the food was here for a very unassuming cafe. Perfect example of not judging the book y it's cover. While the decor and marketing materials leave much to be desired, the kitchen made up for it more than twofold. Ordered the lambchops and they were seasoned well. Mint sauce was the bomb. Of course The Entertainer's 1-for-1 main course offer didn't hurt the enjoyment either.

β β β β β Walked into a quiet restaurant within City Square Mall, utilising the 1-1 promo, discovered lacklustre food with service that could do with some improvements. Frankly speaking maybe we werenβt being fair as we ordered pastas in a restaurant that is named Beyond Pancakes, but it was dinner and they do have a comprehensive menu for western food outside of pancakes. Ordered aglio olio and vongole pastas, and in short: portion is small, added $3.90++ for prawns and calamari, and literally got 2 small prawns and 2 calamari rings. The taste was way too salty but overall is ok. The male waiting staff appeara rude and unfriendly. Price is decent for a mall restaurant but unlikely to visit again.

β β β β β The breakfast set (9-11am) includes two pancakes, maple syrup , a piece of butter and a flavoured tea. Pancakes are fluffy and tasty. Fairly decent for the price, definitely not the best in the town. There are a few different variations of the breakfast set including the add-ons like hash brownies, eggs, ham etc. Not so crowded during the weekend.
