If you wish to be insulted and be spoken down to. Do visit BYX. Wonderful customer service, NOT. They definitely don't need customers as they treat the ones they have walking through the door so poorly. Even the ones that have spent significant money on Bikes they've repaired. Unfortunately I had to put one star to post this. They don't deserve it. If there was a negative star I'd put one. What constitutes verbal abuse? Your staff was curt, disrespectful, repeatedly asked us to take the bike and leave even before he mentioned to me that there was no one to repair the bike today. There were no expletives used by me. He threatened me repeatedly over the phone to leave with the bike unless I accepted his rude attitude. It started with the way he addressed me over the phone when he asked my helper to get in touch with regard to the repair. I told him the bike had a flat tyre. He told me the front wheel was wobbling .The whole attitude was get out of this shop. Take it or leave it. Despite the fact that this bike was just recently repaired at your shop at considerable expense. You didn't step in with any form of a balanced view point. I understand you need to protect your staff but you need to train your staff on how to deal with customers. I do see comments about the arrogant attitude at BYX. Be careful when you use words like verbal abuse. I could say BYX was disrespectful because I sent my helper to get the bike fixed.

My raving review is long overdue! I've been on my bike for the past 2 years and I've always relied on BYX bike shop for servicing and all kinds of ad hoc support. Adrian, particularly, has always welcomed me with open arms and such a positive attitude, no matter how small or big my bike related issue is. Thank you for keeping me cruising across town!

Went in with my kidโ€™s cheap bike as I tried putting air in the tyres on my own and somehow managed to push the air valve in too deep. The guys not only sorted it out, but also helped to adjust the bike and give it a little tune-up. And they didnโ€™t ask for anything except a fist bump. Thanks so much!

Excellent service by BYX, in particular Jason. My bike tires were flat, and one of the nozzles was stuck inside the tire itself. Jason was very quick and efficient, and readily helped me out. Within a few minutes, my bike was good to go. He also refused payment, and was happy to let me leave behind any tip of my choosing. He made my day! Cheers.

Gives good honest advice. After bringing my Bianchi back for its first service, they noted some specific areas where my heavy sweating is accumulating & corroding the bike parts, and gave me great tips to clean those areas to prolong the life of said parts and my bike. They have also done some small odd jobs for my bikes.

Best customer service experience. When I decided to upgrade my bike at the start of the year, I found that the pandemic had created a massive impact on supply for bikes and components. After doing some research on availability, I placed an order in January with a big shop based in the US, but with a best case of getting my new bike in May, then that changed to July and finally August. The eta kept changing. Then I spoke to Jason at BYX. To cut a long story short, I cancelled that existing order and placed a new order with BYX for the same bike and I picked it up today (April) weeks earlier than I was even expecting to. Throughout the whole process Jason was transparent and responsive. He let me know what was possible and what wasnโ€™t eg Iโ€™ll swap out a couple of components in a few months when the long lead time items come back into stock, but I can still ride the bike now and thatโ€™s what was important to me. Jason sent me regular updates including pictures while he was building my bike and everything was exactly as I expected when I picked it up today. I highly recommend Jason and the team from BYX, their customer service, transparency and professionalism has been first rate.
