We should have read the many negative comments below before we visited this “black-shop 黑店”. It costs us a bomb to learn from this mistake. This clinic should be given a zero! This clinic charged us close to a $1000 for only blood test, x-Ray, throat and stomach infection medicine (no surgery needed) for our puppy dog? In addition, they charged us for the services that we did not ask for: check my dog’s bone structure? Close to a $1000? What a “blood-sucking” price for a non-surgical service? CASE and pet lovers should be aware of such a horrible service and “blood-sucking” fee. No pet lovers should come to this black-shop.

Please do NOT go to this clinic: Companion Animal Surgery. The vets weren't empathetic and did NOT care about the ordeal my pet was going through. They pushed for surgery despite the low success rate and potential complex repercussions, and my dog went through 2 operation. How could a dog survive with 2 surgery. And just 5 days my pet didn't survive, the last day my furkids had difficulty breathing and we informed the nurses all they replied was not to worry and the next second my pet heart had stopped. Dear boy, I am sorry to let you suffer please forgive me.

I have multiple pets with the clinic and seeing them over the past years. We have paid in total 5 digit of consultation fees, surgery fees, Medicine cost etc over multiple pets. And one of my dog has skin condition that requires the same medication which we already brought over the dog for consultation. When asking for the same medicine. The nurse and vet insisted to ask us go for consultation so that we can get the same medicine. Skin problem sometime can be pro-longed. So each time I request for the medicine I will need to go consultation. Which is how they generate so much consultation fee I guess. And The counter staff is not professional. Not empathetic and only want to get their job done. They even exhaling dramatically when they need to explain to customer on the prescription and usage on the second time. When we ask about the list of charges and how it is being derived the staff will even roll their eyes. From a loyal customer to an exiting customer.

I was directed towards this Vet clinic as after a not-so-good follow-up of my dog's spaying with additional symptoms that even a specialist in another clinic did not even try to understand, here, Dr Miles took his time to auscult the dog, explain clearly what was happening and make sure the medication was adapted (and clearly it needed to be adjusted since the dog is now fully recovered 2 months after surgery). No nonsense jargon, not over priced either.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this particular vet clinic had such bad service that it warrants a post to warn other pet owners. I brought a rescue cat to this clinic in early January 2022. As this cat had just been rescued by us from the streets the day before, we had no knowledge of its health condition and requested a comprehensive health checkup. The attending vet did a blood test and found that the cat had stage 4 kidney failure. She prescribed a bunch of medicines, including subcutaneous fluids to be administered around the same time everyday (ie 24 hours from the last time the fluid is administered). We went home and did as we were told, purchasing additional subcutaneous fluids (which came in a bag) whenever we ran out of it. I purchased 2 subcutaneous fluid bags as per my usual routine a few days ago. Today as I was about to administer the subcutaneous fluids to my cat, I found that the new bag (which I was going to use for the first time) had leaked all over the floor and was almost empty. Fortunately I bought a second bag. However, upon closer inspection, I found that the second bag had a small tear at the part where the bag connects to the tube. This is a huge no no and I can’t use this contaminated bag of fluids on my cat - this is stated clearly in the manufacturer’s instructions written on the bag. My fiancé called to feedback on the two fluid bags. Instead of trying to listen and understand, the person on the other end of the line kept “bulldozing” over my fiancé and interrupting his explanation. This person basically blamed us for the leaking bags and insinuated that we had somehow incorrectly inserted the needle and the tubing. Not only was this frustrating, this clinic refused to offer us a replacement bag and insisted that we pay for the new bags we had to order (since our cat HAD to have these fluids everyday). Bear in mind that each fluid bag costs $42.80 so it’s a relatively big expense. When we asked them to send these fluids asap (keeping in mind that we have to administer the fluids to our cat at about the same time everyday, as instructed by THEIR vet), the person on the line said they were “busy”. This was despite them making us pay for the replacement bags. Completely unsympathetic and really egregiously poor service! I am bringing my cat to another vet in the future and WILL NOT be purchasing any more medicines from this clinic any longer. Frankly after today’s phone call, I don’t feel that these people truly care for their patient animals. You and your pet are much better off somewhere.

I have been to this vet twice so far, walking-in out of usual business hours to treat some urgent conditions of my dog, because my usual vet is unavailable. The staff there are nice. We have seen two female doctors, one of them is Dr. J See. The other one I forgot her name. Both are very patient, friendly and professional. Front desk staff are also nice and patient. Appreciate their help.

Super bad experience today in this clinic. Made appointment at 2:30pm and waited for 50mins while my cat capped in the carrier. This is extremely bad time management resulting in my cat is forced to inhumanly stay in the narrow carrier!! One of the receptionists (heavy makeup mid-age lady picture 1) was busy with chatting with one customer who apparently is doing cat transactions situated in the clinic with a book full of transaction records!! After a long wait and just 10mins consultation for my cat’s normal vaccination/check up, i was sitting in a 3-seater and my cat in carrier was in the middle. I was called to make payment and check the vaccination record then left my cat in the middle seat. The “transaction” lady (picture 2 in black middle seat) came, without asking for permission, moved my cat to the side!!!!! This is extremely NOT empathetic. In a clinic called Companion Xxx, this is how the people treat our companion friends!!! Another watchout for this clinic is data privacy. When i made phone call for the appointment, i was told under my name there is a dog and a cat. I never had a dog in my life yet!! I suspect they are using customer’s record to enable some “transaction”. I asked them to show me their record and confirm deletion.

Please do NOT go to this clinic: Companion Animal Surgery. The vets weren't empathetic and did NOT care about the ordeal my pet was going through. They pushed for surgery despite the low success rate and potential complex repercussions, and also gave differing and contradictory advice: Dr Charlotte kept on pursuing further CT scans or surgery even though it might be just as futile, since she said that the success rates for this operation is low ; Dr Eleanor also advised that the new surgery is complicated and there will be serious repercussions; A senior vet however, called to push for the surgery. The vets especially Dr Alan, were always unsure of my pet's progress/condition and directed me to vets on other shifts. We lost complete faith in the vets at Companion Animal Surgery and transferred my pet to a specialist clinic. By then, my pet had to be put to sleep. We should have brought him to a professional clinic which truly cares for animals. Dear Blacky (Appu), I am sorry. Please forgive Daddy.
