★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an enjoyable family dinner at this Japanese restaurant. We were seated at the loft area which was rather nice experience and relatively more quite than the ground floor. Almost everything we tried was nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice chill place with friendly uncle and staff. The sashimi is fresh and chunky just the way I like it. Pork katsu crispy, tender and juicy inside. Beautifully cooked saba. But the Chuka Wakame should be served on a proper plate, not on an inverted coaster with juices flowing on to the table. Overall we enjoyed the ambience and decent Japanese fare. Sides menu items change occasionally so you may not get the same thing each week. Being located on the side of Flow building, it’s easy to miss but do check it out if you are nearby. Shiok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh sashimi and sushi at this cozy Japanese restaurant! The assorted yakitori selection and grilled squid were also delicious. My premium sushi set included fresh ebi and the ebi head—I requested the kitchen to help me deep-fry the prawn head (it's the best way to eat it!) and they gladly prepared it for me :) Seasoned and deep-fried to perfection. Can't wait to visit again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omg. I’m so impressed with this restaurant, fresh thick cut sashimi, awesome maki rolls (esp the dynamite one), katsu don, all at an affordable price range!! So happy to find this gem of a place. Great service too by the staff, especially Johnson, love his enthusiasm and willingness to help! His attitude totally enhanced the experience for us. Highly recommended! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like others said, this is a hidden gem. Really fresh sashimi and impressive oyster. The mentaiko salmon maki roll and the chicken wing skewer were delicious as well. Good service - dishes were served fairly quick after placing the order. I would like to visit again if I am in Katong area again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow.. it was tucked amongst a roll of restaurants almost out of sight. Happened by here and thought "Why not?". Food was FRESH and tasty! Totally love the ambience and don't expect slow traditional Japanese music. The music here ROCKS.. I don't know what genre it is but it was fast tempo but not absurdly loud Japanese pop. Love it!

The sukiyaki don was really yummy (no pictures on that cos we were so hungry ?)
Also glad they have Swordfish sashimi available. The food is decent, with great lunch set prices. The menu is extensive, and generally affordable.
This time we didn't get to try as much as we wanted but will be back for more!
++The service was friendly and welcoming.
