★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some ground floor units at Blocks 139, 158, 159 and 161 at Simei Road have turned the common corridor into a HDB junkyard and jungle (see attached pictures). Provided feedback repeatedly to the ECTC but nothing much has changed. Some of these units have their belongings (e.g. cabinets, sofas, etc.) protruding so much that they block the common passageway, and forcing passers-by into the open and risk being hit by killer litter and falling objects from above.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really kind and understanding officers. We left our chair outside the shop accidentaly and we received summon after few days for not adhering with town council rules. Upon our request for waiver of first time mistake , the officer understand our situation and waived the fine considering the business situation anf unintentional first mistake. Really heartfelt thanks for understanding situation of businesses.????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We pay maintenance fee without fail every month.Why do our corridors have to look like its someone's unkempt homes!? Isnt it the job of town council to throw away or make sure the residents hang their clothes inside their house or the very least by their doorsteps? Calling and seeking help was a useless effort and i suggest maybe we can stop paying maintenance fee if you guys cant do your job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried unsuccessfully to email ECTC through their website contact to feedback about the littering issue at the common area but error message keeps poping out. What is the point of having a platform that doesn't work. Give up...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For years, the East Coast Town council had proven to be helpless at ensuring the common corridors remain clutter free. Errant residents are free to use the common corridors as their dump storage.
Various combustible obstructions inhibiting the use of the common areas. These are potential fire hazards and will hamper evacuation during any emergencies.
Even after all the feedback throughout the years and pleas with the ECT to take action, they are unable to permanently eradicate the frustrating issue

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you East Coast Town Council for the beautiful 2021 calendar. I also appreciate that the town council had sent someone to help me when an upstairs neighbour dropped some baby clothes & cloths onto my air con ledge accidentally.
I hope the town council can assist to better maintain the cleanliness of the areas near the block of my new house
Update 6 Aug 2021:
I have observed that recently they are more responsive to feedback and issues in the area. Hence revising my rating to 5 stars.
