Brought my daughter for a haircut today at EC House Northpoint. Served by Alex Chang, his hair cut skills is excellent. Thumbs up for him. ??

If you think that the kiddy ride is where you kid get to sit while hair cut, don’t be deceived. Wasted effort to go there , while the kid cry they hardly manage to cut hair. ??

A no-frills hair salon. For haircuts only. To have a haircut, follow the simple steps as follows: 1) Go to vending machine in the shop 2) Choose either adult or senior citizen (Adult - S$12; Senior Citizen - S$10) (Approach the hairdressers if you do not have exact change, they will change the notes for you.) 3) Slot in the required amount of notes 4) After doing so, a card will be dispensed from the machine 5) Retrieve the card and proceed to the bench beside the machines to wait for your turn The service is pretty decent in consideration for the price one pays. The hairdressers will accommodate your request to the best of their abilities, since this is a no-frills hair salon anyway. A good thing about having a haircut here is the usage of a vacuum pipe by hairdressers to "suck out" all the stray strands of hair sticking to your neck or head. One can continue to shop and go about running errands without feeling irritated by the strands of hair sticking around after a haircut. There is a corner specially catered to children who would like to have a haircut. The hairdressers are in general friendly, which helps make the haircut experience a more enjoyable one. All in all, a bang for the buck service offering.

I went to EC House to cut my hair on 2/7/20, the next day I cut at K cut at Northpoint which had cut my hair bluntly straight and thick at lower part and very ugly. The lady at EC can’t speak English and she was alone with 3 people waiting behind me but she was patient and listened properly what I want and she did a good job. I got the hair style I want. I noted her handling of scissors was also very professional. Thank you lady. Appreciated your patience, skill and politeness.

The lady hairdresser cut my hair really well! She also cut my long fringe in a way that my hair will look okay regardless of where the hair parting is. My hair is prone to having split ends after being cut by blunt scissors. However, the scissors she used was sharp enough to cut thick hair strands nicely. Really appreciate her skills and service!

The service standards vary by hairstylist who are duty on different days. On Thurs afternoon, 2 slim ladies were on duty and 1 of them layered my mum's hair nicely. However, on Friday late afternoon, the shop was manned by 1 guy and 1 lady. Despite telling the guy to trim my fringe a bit to touch eyebrow or close to eyebrow, he cut in a straight line and by so much that my fringe is 3cm from my eyebrow. I won't patronise him on Thurs again :(
