I got the food as takeaways but they were still tasty even when they're slightly cold. Will go back to try the other dishes and eat them on the spot next time!

The friendly husband and wife duo, who are both chefs whip up one of the most delectable, affordable and memorable Japanese cuisine one can find. Their food matches and sometimes exceeds the standards of some restaurants. Must tries include the fried chicken katsudon, chicken katsu curry rice, garlic fried rice and fried gyoza. Since April this year, they have moved to open a home-based business in Pasir Ris and most recently have an outlet in Tampines as well. The standards and portions remain consistent and up to par, and some customisation of dishes are possible. Look for Ekiben if you'd like to satisfy your craving for value-for-money and delicious Japanese cuisine!
H	Hadrian Khoo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I patronise Smart City Kitchens (Tampines Food Co) regularly, and I noticed that there was finally Japanese food on the menu, in the form of Ekiben. It was lunchtime, and I went with what was most appealing to me on the menu ; Ebi Fry Curry Rice, adding Omu and a serving of Shishamo. The order was packed neatly, with the applicable sauces included. It looked absolutely amazing! In my excitement, I did not take any pictures. The Ebi Fry was crunchy and succulent, the curry struck just the right balance between spicyness and sweetness, the Omu was tender and silky, and the Shishamo really popped! Couldn't have asked for a better meal. I was slightly disappointed that the sushi items were not available, but upon contacting them, I was informed that they will be ready for ordering next week (after 26 June 2022). Thank you Ekiben!

E	Eric Chan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ having to pay $2/- more for the spicy ramen....I was excited to try....but was let-down....nothing tasted good....tasted like the typical ramen you'd get from a FoodCourt....I suppose that's what you'd get for just $8.50....the bento set was more value for money and taste-wise....it was alright. But we liked the uncle who took our orders....friendly and accommodating....
阿	阿宝 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the Pasir Ris Food Center to look for the “always long queue” western food stall on the second floor but the queue was too long a wait so I decided to look for alternative… Then this Japanese food stall named “Ekiben” caught my attention…. They have quite a bit of varieties & my first visit I decided to go for the Teriyaki Curry Rice… The chicken is so tender and the Teriyaki sauce is really yummy! Thereafter this stall becomes my regular “go to” place…. Their Beef Curry Rice is another “must try” item…. If you want bento set, try their Saba Set or Salmon Set. Really “Bagus”!!
