This Is my dental treatment first time in singapore

My dad went for dental checkup because his denture is lose. It ends up he was advised to extract all of teeth and when he has only 5 teeth left before the clinic can do new dentures for him. The dentist said the teeth have decayed. As you can imagine having only 5 teeth left no one wish to extract all of them. So we requested to just do cleaning and scaling and will decide another day. When the bill came it is $101 for polishing, scaling and topical fluoride. This has not include consultation. It turn out to be more expensive than my dental bill from another dental clinic when I have full set of teeth. Though there is CHAS subsidy this is really expensive and thought has overcharged. The dentist was in fact very eager to extract all the teeth on the very same day and continue to try hard to persuade my dad. We are glad we held back and postpone the extraction. Had we proceed, the bill will be much higher and not necessary. In the end, after seeking second opinion, it is not necessary to extract all the teeth and still can do the dentures. My dad will not go back to this clinic again.

I had my wisdom tooth successfully extracted here today. The dentist and the assistants here are friendly, patience and most importantly responsible and very experienced. With their experienced service, I have had my severely decayed wisdom tooth removed without experiencing any pain and the process of the extraction went smoothly and fast. They are also a responsible dental team, who really care for whole dental condition of the patients. They help me to remove large amounts of dental calculus on my teeth where the other dentists I had visited previously didn't bother to do anything with the calculus. The dentist even taught me how to clean the teeth in the right way.
