Really great place to get your eyes checked and get your specs! Simon is a truly patient and great person. He goes through each test thoroughly and explains to me what the test is about. He explains to me what the best options are based on my profile. I really recommend this place if you are looking for a great place to get your eyes checked and get yourself a new specs.

EMME Visioncare has an experienced team who are extremely knowledgeable and provide excellent service. I had the opportunity to have Mr. Jaycob to fit Ortho-K lenses on me. These are extremely specifically designed lenses that require delicate professional expertise to fit. I presented to him a challenging situation due to my excessively high myopia but through regular consultations we were able to work together to sort out any troubles along the way. The level of care and duty demonstrated was exemplary. Naturally, they also dispense glasses or contact lenses, but you would be hard-pressed to find a shop that yields quality specialized services in addition to regular eyecare goods. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody in need of vision correction.

I have been doing spectacles for the past 30+ odd years and been to countless shops local or overseas be it traditional or trendy shops such as OWNDAYS. Expensive or cheap, to be honest ,few managed to impress for the spectacles done. The recent spectacle done by OWNDAYS beside the price point has not served my eyes well, did more damage than good and definitely did not solved my eyes long-standing issue with blur wordings on LCD signage. Thru the recommendation of my sister-in-law, I decide to give them a try. The way they conduct eye checks was professional, and most importantly they do not rush through and was patience enough to ensure my eye degree fluctuations and discrepancies during the check was properly address and dispel. Most importantly, this spectacle solve my eye problems with LCD signage which was most troubling to my eyes through the last 5 years. My left eye does not feel strained compared to the previous spectacle done by OWNDAYS as they have overpowered it by 5 times for the left len. Highly recommended for the job done and service.

I wear progressive spectacles for 10 over years but always can't adapt well to them. I thought making an expensive pair will solve my problem but after spending around $1k+ on one pair last year, i still have problems reading and driving. I am really thankful to have encountered Simon and Emme team. I learnt a lot about my eyes through Simon's detailed check. He also spend time listening to my problems and needs and then recommended me drivewear progressive that costs only around $400+ bundled with frame. Now i have no problems for reading and can see very well when driving at night. The most expensive pair may not always be most suitable product for my needs. All it takes is the optometrist can listen and understand my needs and recommend the right product. Thank you Simon and Emme visioncare. Great job! First visit to EMME, having finally decided i needed progressive glasses. I’d googled for reviews and EMME came up highly recommended. It’s a family-based business, so not a big place like one of the ubiquitous optical chain stores; frame choices not as extensive. However, the personable service and professionalism more than made up for that. Simon was the only staff there that morning. He gave clear explanations on the workings and intricacies of progressive type lenses, and allowed me plenty of time to choose a frame that suited me. The eye exam was the most comprehensive I’ve had at an optometrist - not just visual acuity, but also retina health, and for eye complications such as cataract and glaucoma. He also measured the pupillary distance carefully (I’ve had issues with this at a previous optometrist). I received notice to collect a week after. Once again Simon attended to me; he made sure the glasses fit the way it should, and even went through with me how to adjust my eyes/head position to look near and far, at his computer screen, and outside the shop. He also shared his personal experience with the transition to progressive glasses. I was quite keen to start wearing them right off, but he suggested that i pace myself to give my eyes a chance to adapt, and minimise eye strain. That was very good advice - as after just 2hrs of wearing them, my eyes felt a little strained, but nothing too uncomfortable. Overall i am pleased with the prescription glasses, it is easier to adapt to than i had expected. The EMME experience and advice definitely also helped me feel confident in this aspect!
