FAITH Clinic (Simei) - 139 Simei Street 1

Clinic staff need to re-evaluate their career choices and reflect on why they chose to be in healthcare. I brought my mom to this clinic on a Sunday afternoon at around 12.18pm as she was feeling faint and unwell - this was the only nearby clinic that was open at that time. However both clinic staff turned us away stating that the clinic is closing in 10 minutes and the doctor is not paid for overtime. I was distressed and offered to pay extra fees, even pleaded for them to attend to my mom since the clinic is still open and the doctor was still around. Both clinic staff refused to let us in and said they had already shut down all their systems. Seriously, how heartless can you be to turn away a patient who needs help ? If you want to end work exactly on time regardless of how distressed your patients are, please be a receptionist or admin staff in anywhere else other than a clinic. We dont need people like you in healthcare.

rude and uncooperative clinic counter staff. I have ari symptoms and needed a swab test, the staff lied saying they could not submit the test to the lab on time when it's 10 am. because of this I was told to go to another clinic. when I told her the clinic she told me to go to turned me away and this clinic is the second one I have been to, she accepted my registration. the staff eventually called me at about 12pm to say they have a slot for me. I wondered why suddenly they can submit the swab now at 12 plus. I decided I do not want to get treated by a clinic that lacks integrity. to be fair, I should not judge a clinic by its counter staff /nurse. the doctor might be great. but please faith clinic, why are you letting a bad staff destroy the doctors?

Sharing both me and husband’s experience. We’ve just moved here almost a year ago from Bedok area and this is the nearest clinic. My husband was unwell a few days ago and went down there w/o appointment in the morning. He was told to come back in a few hours due to long queue. One would THINK to have his name recorded or something so they would know to expect him later. He calls them and asks if he can return they say yes. This is 1.30pm. He went down around 10am. When he returned the staff can ask why is he here? Still ends up waiting over another HOUR. By the time he gets results it’s already past 3 pm and he has COVID. I tested ART positive and tried to make appointment. Did not even get to finish my sentence the receptionist CUTS ME OFF saying they are full sorry and chop2 hangs up! Bloody rude.

I was 4th in line still had to wait for more than an hour. I noticed a few people that came after me managed to see the dr first. Not sure if they got to cut the queue but reading some of the comments here, it seems like it. Intervals between patients took a long time as well. I think there should be a better system and time keeper as to how long a dr can have with his patient(subject to severity of sickness).

I made appointment earlier before I came by. Called clinic and ask when will be my turn. The lady replied still have few more in queue you can come over and wait first, this is how appointment goes. The attitude of the receptionist is not friendly. Didn't return my IC after updating. Came here and waited nearly 1 hour already haven't reach my turn.

Came to the clinic to show a cut on my daughter's leg, which was bleeding. The cut wasn't too deep to take her to the A&E. We waited for 45 mins before asking the staff when our turn would come.. She showed us the list of 2 more people who were in line. We kindly asked if she cannot let a child who is slightly bleeding from a cut be given preference. We were also spending that much more time in a clinic visited by COVID patients. If she had informed the doc about the seriousness of the wound, he would have called us inside. She then took a photo and took it to show the doc. After 10 mins, we were called in. Dr.Jeff dressed the wound and was kind. He is the only doc serving patients and was doing the role of a doc and nurse. All in all, we spent more than an hour in a clinic for a wound.

Always need to wait very long. Register 9:30am 12:22 already still waiting. The patient is sick also and wanted to rest but need to get Medical Cert so no choice but to queue. In not sure how the queue system works too. I see some just came few minutes of registration can see doctor already. Really frustrating worst is you are sick and wanted to rest but you cant cos you waiting to see doctor. So im back here for myself as i also catch covid. 8:44am register ask me wait for 3 hrs!!!! Come back after 11am so i went home sick and waited. 11am i was here and they say got 6 more patient before me! How could that be? And now their list was not on the table already so i dunno how they call people on whose next in line. Really inefficient. Only good thing is the doctor is good but really the queue system sucks.

My family and I had been visiting Dr Jeff from 1997 to 2018 until we moved to Bedok. Although I go to Bedok Polyclinic nowadays to save travelling time, waiting time and cost, I will still visit Faith Clinic once in a while when there is a need to. More for consultation to get second opinion and serious matter because Dr Jeff would ask questions in depth and know my medical history very well. He is very meticulous and thorough which is the main reason why I do not mind waiting for more than one hour for my turn. If each patient took up 15 to 30 min of his time, I would also get this extra time of hearing him giving me advice as he is very knowledgeable. His fee did not include the extra time that he had spent with each patient as I had been charged more than $100 from another clinic in Simei (based on time) when I spent more than 20 min in the consultation room in Trinity Clinic. Between the 2 clinics which are nearby to each other, I would highly recommend Faith Clinic because of Dr Jeff (will not go there if he is not there). No comment on counter staff.
