★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited for 1 hour plus to go in to dine. And then found out quite afew of the menu items sold out, one of them is the gyudon. Went to so many outlets the gyudon was never sold out before first time came to northpoint outlet just to eat gyudon but sold out. During the 1 hour plus wait, queueing customers can clearly see into the restaurant where there are at least 2 to 4 vacant tables. Saw many people leaving halfway, even parents with 2 young children waited very long, the kids kept telling the mom inside got table. After awhile the mom decided to ask the staff if they can go in already but supposedly got rejected if not told to wait longer? Cuz afterwards the dad said something loudly and sarcastically and stormed off with the family. DUring this 1 hour wait also saw 2 staff named carmen & tall middle aged guy(forgot his name) just kept chatting away at the counter for maybe 20 mins or more, when there are at least 4 empty tables. Also got an auntie and uncle just kept walking around and looking at the queue, then walked away like there's not a snaking queue and empty tables in the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to this place twices, first for dine in and second for pick up. Both experience bad, full of staff but no one is bothered about attending to customers. When required assistance no staff will attend immediately instead mingle around and chit chat between them. Ordered a sashimi that tasted bad on first mouth, was taken away and the staff never bother to return with a new set nor inform of cancellation. During pick up the staff don't bother why you are standing outside of their shop for more then 10mins. Even when the food is left on the table in their store, they won't even announce for number or check if anyone order is that until I ask if that item is my order. Why hired staff that isn't there to work but mingle and chat.

sushi express taste much better and cheaper
genki sushi seems like it’s only at same tier as sushi tei- the never coming back tier
attached the most ridiculous looking sushi that i ever had hahahaha

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to compliment one of your staff , Puppy for going extra miles in her customer service. She is very friendly and courteous in her services. She bought us to our table and ask do we have GENKI member and we told her we doesn't have it and she suggested we make our order first and while waiting for our food we able to download and sign up to get GENKI benefit & Voucher. She had made a great evening for our family to enjoy our dinner at your restaurant.Do convey my appreciation for her good services provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Standard of the food here is very bad. Worst genki outlet ever. Avoid at all costs. Mentaiko fries took 10minutes to arrive cold. Soft shell crab came in a minute cold. Im talking ac temperature cold, not even warm. Look at the tamago mentai.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste and service was normal. But food presentation was HORRENDOUS. Half of the sushi we ordered were falling apart. Some basically looked like scraps. Side note, we waited 30mins for a table of 3 even tho it was only 4pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to have almost fresh sushi as they come from "speed train" trays directly to ur table upon orders. However theres only a 90min limit to in-dining. So not a good thing for slow-munchers.
Brought my mum for lunch but unfortunately for the elderly who do not know how to use a QR code to order from their menu, it would be quite a hassle.
Overall, I would say their menu provides good dishes of sushi, appetizers and other japanese related dishes within a reasonable pricing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited for 30min for 10 groups ahead (table for 2pax ) during weekend lunch
Honestly Genki sushi has been consistently seemed with long queue. There's once the waiting time up to 120min. Good thing is the queuing system is robust and visible , you will be informed how many ahead of you and estimated waiting time when getting queue ticket ?
Genki sushi had a delivery train that similar with Sushiro , but here had more variety. However i just find the sushi ? was not so per my expectation. Especially the miso soup , i would see fish eye ?️ inside the soup, quite gross for me
The waiter told me to come 3-4pm, that time doesn't have queue.
And i also find out you can actually get queue number from their app, and join membership to enjoy 5% discount fir first order, and many more offers
