Service: This outlet was really under staffed, with only 1 manager managing the cashier, clearing the plates, cleaning the area ,ushering new customers in and handling customer requests.Due to the lack of man-power, the restaurant looked pretty dirty as well, especially the floor. Food: The conveyer belt doesn't have any salmon related dish until 15-20mins later, and even when salmon was served, the choices and quantity was very limited. I feel that Sushi express is trying to save cost and cut corners by making their customer eat cheaper sushi choices. It's been awhile since I visit sushi express but the slices of salmon sashimi was reduced from 3 to 2 pieces and it doesn't taste fresh at all. The salmon miso soup tasted more diluted compared to the past I'm really disappointrd and probably won't eat in ever again.

40 minutes queue at 7.15pm on a Sunday night, not too bad considering they had to practice safe distancing during this period. However, since the dishes were prepared in waves, we did not manage to get through the full menu in our hour long visit. The miso soup however, was the highlight since there were 2 slices of salmon, coupled with some tofu, for a mere $1.50. Last but not least, our visit was plagued by strands of hair in the sushi, and even a fly thatโ€™s stuck in the covers.. ?

The wait time was extremely long. Arrived at 12pm on a Saturday. Queued for a bit then decided to walk away. At 12.30pm I came back to queue again after circling the entire mall, I noticed the people who were queueing in front of me previously had only moved 2 spaces. The place is very small compared to other outlets I have been too. There's only 1 staff doing the cashiering, cleaning tables, assigning seats and preparing utensils for the guests. Wouldnt recommend this outlet specifically if you are hungry cos by the time I got my seat it was already 1.10pm and since I was a single diner I managed to get a seat quicker. Can't imagine if I came with my family how long we would have to wait.

Please put more Staff. Is sat 1pm and there is 2 floor Staff. Both are not very well trained and taking their time. The whole floor is empty with tables not cleaned. Huge que with 20 people waiting. This is Saturday. Where is the manager?

The attendant was busy on the phone & he just grabbed my card rudely when I was waited for him to finish up his long vigorous conversation on the phone. But the foods selections, soup and price are good. Perhaps could conduct manners training on the lack of sleep attendant. He never tell me what is the price & kept on excitingly talking on the phone in Mandarin. I was waiting - He just grabbed my card rudely and gave me an annoyed face - that was an eye opener. He sure a candidate for a snacther - is amazing for Singapore's standard. He is the only attendant on the floor, clearing up dirty dishes, cashier's, making soups for the armies of people. I understand where he is coming from for being so aggressive towards me in the cashier for payment. There should be more attendant deploy on the floor for heavy traffics???

Food freshness & portion size were good!! Service staff were approachable & friendly. But unfortunately cleanliness of the table need improvement. We killed more than 7 ants? on the table.

The place is seriously understaffed. Only 1 person is serving the customers outside of kitchen and working as cashier and cleaner at the same time. On my visit yesterday, this staff was too busy to come to my table and he counted my plates from the cashier side. He actually counted more plates than what I have taken. Too bad that by the time i noticed that on the receipt after payment and went back, he already started to clean the table. I confronted him but could not argue with him further as some of those plates already gone. I recalled that last time the staff would count the plates in front of me and would give me a paper with number of plate written on it before I headed to cashier for payment. It was the most unpleasant dining experience in a place that I paid for the service charge. I hope that management will resolve this issue soon. Until then, I would rather visit other branches.

Just be sure not to turn up starving when they just open at 11am. While I can understand that they need time to make the sushi, I was also told that I couldn't just order something I want to eat and MUST wait for things to appear on the belt...(-__-)... I ended up staring at either an empty belt or repeatedly at things that I don't want to eat... Also, the topping of every sushi kept falling off, because there's no wasabi to stick the topping to the rice (see photo)... (-__-) and this is for EVERY single piece of sushi. Something's VERY wrong with this place...
