Very good tonkatsu with varying quality. You definitely can get very good quality of pork if you’re willing to splurge. We came on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Was quite lucky and managed to get seats without waiting for long. The place has free flow rice and salad with every set menu item, so we had 1 set menu and ordered ala carte fried items for 2 pax. Overall it was filling and pretty satisfying.

The best Tonkatsu I’ve had in Singapore and I’ve tried at least 10 different joints in Singapore over the years. Definitely on the pricier side of things but worth every penny. In my opinion, this is comparable to something you’d find in Japan but needless to say, there are better ones in Japan.

Many tonkatsu restaurants talk about serving up melt in your mouth pork and I'd naively thought this was just another one that made the same unsubstantiated claim. Imagine my surprise when I sank my teeth and found the breaded pork to be the juiciest, fork-tender piece one can find in Singapore. For reference though, I ordered the recommended pork loin set ($38) and I think the other sets were decent but not as mind-blowing as this. Had an extra fried shrimp on the side and that was also pretty solid.

Went for dinner with my date. They started of with serving salad and the sauce was delicious. Love the Pork Cutlet too. My date kindly ordered prawns instead of oyster since I can't really eat oyster, but they still tasted great. The only downside is that the food here is expensive. Thankfully my date have 30% discount and all is well.

Food was great. Ordered the pork loin with fats. So good and worth the calories.. the cabbage salad is free flow.. the rice cake dessert is so nice and chewy and got a charred smell bcs it was toasted + with the vanilla ice cream. What a perfect combination!

Hands down best tonkatsu in Singapore. Been coming to this place regularly since they were originally at Wisma Atria. 1 star short of perfect because sometimes the food can be inconsistent and service questionable. I would say it is a great meal and perfectly cooked 80% of the time coming here. Service can also be a bit questionable at times (ie arguing with me that I shouldn’t put sesame seeds on the rice, but eat it with the pork instead. Like ya, I know that? But let me eat my food the way I want to??) But there are some other staff who are really nice. Around $ 26++ for one main course. Very reasonable pricing for the quality and portion of food you get. in my opinion. We always order the thick pork loin katsu set and fillet katsu set. The pork fat is very tasty and the meat is super tender.

First time eating here. We ordered the prawn set and thick pork loin set (plus a la carte fried oyster). The prawns was ok, nothing too fancy and a bit bland in my view. But the pork amazes me! I have never had Japanese deep fried pork that is so succulent and tender and juicy! It was still pinkish and juicy and would describe it as medium doneness. Definitely must try. On top of that, 1 oyster order actually has 2 pieces of oyster inside which was very fresh and delicious. This place is a must try if you like tonkatsu type of cuisine. ?

We’ve been here a couple of times and it’s the place we go to which ensures no disappointment and a satisfying meal. No doubt we’ll be back to try some items we’ve not tried before. I personally like all the shrimp items - so tasty and juicy. The fried pork are also juicy but there’s just something about the prawns. Hubby ordered the Anzu set to get the land and sea option. It came with fried root vegetables which he would pass. The oyster is not bad but not a wow, rather bland, so maybe I won’t order that again. By the way the fresh cabbage salad served at the start can be topped up. We always enjoy that part of the meal.
