Personally I find it a little too pricing comparing to others. It will be good if we can have more chances of sauce

We intend to try your most premium wayu items and sadly left because your staff is not attending to us and kept us waiting in queue for 20 mins even we are the 2nd in queue. Such a disappointment. There are more than 90% empty tables and seats around in which he could have just get us seated first. You are charging premium prices yet there is no service at all. Extremely bad exoerience. 0 star.

Buffet time limit 90mins. Food came charcoal haven't appear ? eat raw food? No extra time given to us, plus they very strict with their timing. Last order will be reminded to us... but according to them we must give chance to the staffs cause they're new ??? 20mins wasted waiting for the charcoal, & another..dk how many mins wasted waiting for raw food to be cooked.

4 plus pm at this outlet. Observations: 1 service staff, the rest are having rest. Takes a while to get the staff to take our order as he was busy with the cashier duties. We waited around 5-10 minutes after signalling our intention to order. Mind you at this time there were only 3 tables with 1 already finished. After we took our order, service staff came with the charcoal pit. And we waited……….. When the meat plates came we asked” so you don’t have serving plates, chopsticks, napkins..” he goes “oh” When the lady server came with a ice tea she just put at any spot without asking who is it for. This is the reality of Singapore customer service. I have seen much better restaurant service in Malaysia and Thailand. There shouldn’t be a reason why we can’t do better it’s just that the management and the individual just don’t give a dam. At such a bad times where we see restaurants closing and competitors coming in, these folks are not hungry. We plan to just finish what we order and go somewhere else to fill our stomach. It would be my last time coming here again and the rest of the outlets.

Stop being cheapskate guys..Order ala carte if you want nice cut of beef...Mine dinner for 2 was great...very nice cut of beef, melted in your mouth like a butter...They are short handed but still doing a great job...Good job to the service crews...Definitely will come back again..

We tried the branch at waterway point and was impressed with the food quality so decided to try Tampines 1 new branch. But very disappointing as the meat quality has dropped tremendously and choices of side dishes seems to have reduced. Do note you can only order ONE serving of either popcorn OR ice cream despite it’s a buffet. We paid $66.80++ so we feel it’s a ripped off since the quality of meat is not up to standard.

Been to Gyu-Kaku multiple times, but only to the Kinex outlet. They recently opened an outlet at Tampines 1 and we decided to dine there. As compared to the outlet at Kinex, I find the outlet at Tampines better. The restaurant is cleaner; they have the sauces, salt and pepper ready on the table; they have a generous amount of paper serviettes on the the table and most importantly they are slightly better on customer service. The staffs are more attentive and polite here. They also serve the dishes slightly faster than the outlet at Kinex. Not to be mistaken, the outlet at Kinex is almost as good. Just lightly missing out on those points I’ve stated. I’m a fan of Gyu-Kayu. The Australian waygu buffet dinner cost about $75 per pax after GST & service charges, but the price is worth it. Because they serve quality waygu meats and a wide variety of premium side dishes!

I have always enjoyed Gyu-Kaku, and today’s experience in Tampines was the most pleasant. As usual, Meat quality, taste, and portion control has always been consistent. But the service I’ve received today was amazing. The youthful service crew was well-trained. Announces every dish you ordered, proactive, and extremely polite. They even have a slight bow for every service action. Amazing! Special mention: Qing was very attentive and approachable. Ordered their Japanese Wagyu Buffet for $86.8++, and it was very satisfying. Be prepared for Meat sweats after the meal. Do note that the first cook, after the staff finished setting up your charcoal pit, would produce strong flames, and could be slightly dangerous and hard to control. But it does die down after awhile, which allows for better control.
