★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best beansprout with salted fish you will ever have. Crunchy beansprout with crispy salted fish bits. A must have. Always be back for it.
Promfet with blackbean sauce is great too. This stall serves comfort food. Business seem to have dropped, do support the elderly couple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had dinner here. I lived around this area and eaten this stall many times. However, tonight's meal will change my mind. Order the chaipo omelette, nai bai & dousi fish which is their usual popular ones. But, was shock when bill came up to $44/-. My wife ask the individual price and was unhappily (rude) replied. But, it still don't add up. Later the assistance came back and said it's $41/-.
This is still not what we had paid before. The omelette color is not what it used to be. And true enough soak with oil (used to be fluffy & chaipo tasty). The nai bai blend. The fish is expected taste not fantastic like before.
To be fair we noticed the chef seem to have change.
The old man & lady not there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasted like teochew porridge. Menu is misleading 6 dollars per bowl. End up, got charge 9 dollars. The seller just said the menu change and price change. And that to go to their facebook?! Like hello, when i'm ordering and pointing out to the porridge type, then if the price isn't what is on the board, do have the basic ethics to inform. Dishonest. Plain bland food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel that this deserves to have more recognition. It is definitely my go to Taiwan porridge stall (second one being the one in ABC Brickworks). The pair of ah gong and ah ma sells various dishes ala carte. I definitely recommend getting the braised pork, perfectly round cai pu egg, salted fish bean sprouts, bean paste pomfret and stir fry prawns with sweet potato porridge. One thing to note is the dishes are quite salty. More reason to savour it with their wonderful porridge!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was pretty alright and felt home cook; this review omits the photo of the bai-chai vegetables. Trying this for the first time; the stall owner just said, "Just get a vegetable, egg and a fish.". Since this is Taiwan porridge, the erroneous move was to assume that the cost was bone fide not prohibitive. Unfortunately the bill for 2 people with the mentioned items cost S$41 as at 3rd June 2019. Caveat Emptor~

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most go to stall at the old airport road hawker centre other than the popular western food stall. Some of the usual dish that my family usually order are cai po omelette, dou shi chicken and the hongkong Tofu. The food wasnt up to the usual standard as the old uncle wasnt the one that was cooking. Overall, still a pretty decent meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One my firm favourite go to stall whenever here at old airport food centre. Short limited menu. Sweet potatoe porridge with simple stir fried dishes to go with it.
