Their mega sushi has been consistently good, and properly cut through the seaweed. Much better than other outlets, please keep it up!

Ordered a Mega San Salad with ROAST Beef from Maki-San Hillion branch via Deliveroo but got a salad with FROZEN beef instead. Took a second look at the menu to see if they meant cold beef but no, it’s stated as ‘ROAST BEEF’. Not ‘cold’, ‘frozen’ or ‘chilled’. Horrendous!!

The entrance is located outside of, and seperate from the Hillion Mall. It is facing towards the bus stop of Bukit Panjang MRT exit A. The eatery is quite spacious for its type (SUBWAY-like). Order forms are available upon entry. It has got a funny, fishy smell every time we go through. The concept is excellent that you get to customize your sushi or salad bowl. The variety of ingredients is also quite large. However, most of them do not taste like what they are supposed to be. Fresh produce items are also done roughly. One time we ordered asparagus, but the stems are so hard that you cant even really chew on them! The rice is also quite mushy that it is nothing like Japanese rice. Meats, in general, are disappointing as they are prepared and processed in advance, and served cold. Most staff can't really wrap the rolls well that the sushi can fall apart easily once lifted from the box. Though there's a machine that help them cut athe sushi evenly at the end, and the takeaway boxes are very cute, the basic taste of food is simply a pity.

Sushi was not compactly made at this store. My sushi tore into bits halfway while eating as there was huge lobang. Soft shell crab tempura was also way too hard! :( It tasted like it's been left overnight. Edit: Improvement to sushi compactness made! I'm so glad that feedback was taken positively :) soft shell crab still too hard, crispy will be perfect!

Cheap-tasting, pretentious “sushi” that aren’t even made with sushi rice. The sushi rolls don’t really have much flavour to them. I bought the soba bowl and after waiting for a whole hour what I got was chunky, clumpy noodles(see attached pics)lacking in sauce, or flavour to say the least.

I made my own sushi, but the ingredients I opted for were quite similar to their salmon one. It was filled with veggies and yet rich in flavour. The only disappointment really was the soy sauce and wasabi, could have selected a better distributor. Do follow on my IG for more food! IG: theblurredlime

We thought we are going to have a great meal with photos like these (see my pics) but my wife and I had diarrhea after that... We suspect it’s the handling of food with those blue gloves (see pic): the same gloves touches the food AND the trays containing the papers the customers written. Or somehow in their food preparation, there was some unsanitary procedure/s that introduces bacteria into the food.

Ordered through the website to self collect at this outlet. I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, they missed out 2 ingredients i chose?, roasted baby potato and smoky cheddar cheese! Aside from that, the sushi did not taste fresh compared to other outlets i ate from. Disappointing. For the price of $8.40, i only got rice, sushi, small avocado spread, and japanese omelette. ???
