Very frustrating experience. -Ring I received did not look like the sketch. -Communication mostly via email. Phone calls only sometimes answered. Some emails unanswered. -Shop closed for an entire month which prevented any recourse. Chris sketched a very nice ring but when it came back it did not match the sketch. I see no point in designing something if what I receive is going to be different. The shop was closed for an entire month due to their vacation so there was no opportunity to rectify the ring. I ended up going to another shop which completely redid the ring to the specifications that we requested for approximately 1/3 the price. Ended up costing a lot of money and I did not end up with a product that I wanted.

I went to more than diamonds to customise an engagement ring. Sara and Chris provides very professional advice and constantly keep your concerns (budget and resizing) in mind. They are very friendly people, so throughout the customisation process you feel very comfortable about making changes to the design. Most important, I feel that Sara and Chris understands the significance of this ring and works to ensure that the ring would reflect the importance of your marriage proposal. Incredible experience. The owners are a wife-husband duo who can help with your established thought process and potentially visualize your ideas with a sketch in minutes. (Make sure to book an appointment) Their designs and ideas come from a family history in the trade, plus decades living across Scandinavia, Europe, Australia and Asia. Do not confuse them with the jewellery chains you see all over the island - what they can provide is fundamentally rare and exceptional compared to everything else in Singapore. I really enjoyed the exciting process of making rings with them for my wife and I.

More than Diamonds is a bespoke jewellery boutique helmed by Sara and Chris, a wife-husband duo with years of experience in the industry. This means the experience you get at More than Diamonds is fundamentally different from any jewellery chain (regardless of price point). My partner and I consulted with 2 other bespoke jewellery makers before deciding to proceed with Sara and Chris for our wedding bands. Sara and Chris are people who understand the significance of every jewellery piece and make sure you get what you want - and within your budget. We were surprised that More than Diamond's quote was not the most expensive for our design despite their location. We also appreciated that they were warm, professional (the way Chris sketches the designs as you're describing what you want is pure magic!), and not pushy (other bespoke jewellery makers we consulted tried to convince us to make our simple design more complicated in order to charge additional fees). The entire process took a little over 2 months with 4 visits for us. An initial consultation to discuss the design, a second visit to select gemstones for reuse in our design and to get a quote, a third to fit, and a fourth to collect. You may need fewer visits depending on your design. Speaking of reusing gemstones, we had a very enlightening conversation with Sara and Chris on the sustainability of recycled gold as I was initially reluctant to buy "new" gold due to the potential negative environmental and social impact. Long story short: Buy less, choose well, make it last. I also got a pair of pearl earrings competently reworked by More than Diamonds so I can enjoy wearing them more often. All in all - we're very happy with More than Diamonds and highly recommend them!

I ordered my engagement ring to remake and it is really beautiful ring they created for me. Chris is great ring Desineer, he designed exactly what I want to. I am really happy my ring now. Highly recommend if you want to remake your ring.

I have used More Than Diamonds on many occasions and have been nothing but delighted from start to finish. Not only are they exceptional jewellers, their service is personal and you feel the family business vibe. My first experience was to have my wedding ring designed to fit the unique curve of my engagement ring. I felt listened to when I explained what I wanted, but also loved the suggestions they made when I asked for advice. My second experience was when I needed my engagement ring replaced because the stones continued to fall out (this ring was from another jeweller in the UK). Again, the design process was excellent and the ring came out beautifully, just as the wedding ring had. I am now looking to get a third ring designed to celebrate the birth of my daughter using her birth stone as the main stone. Communication with More Than Diamonds is always excellent. I highly recommend More Than Diamonds for a personalised deign experience and high quality end product.
