Mount Pleasant Veterinary Centre (Changi) - 848 Sims Ave

My cat was suspected to have eye tumor/cancer by another vet, because of a swollen third eyelid, and the vet wanted to put my cat through a series of test. However, my gut feeling told me to seek an alternate advise. That was how I came about to MPV @ Changi. The vets and nurses there were very professional and nice. The vet took a look at my cat, and suggested an antibiotic shot and some ointment. After a week or so, the infection dies down and my cat has been well till now. It had saved my cat from going through unnecessary series of test and pain, which turned out to be a simple infection.

I made a appointment last minute but was fully booked the staff called me back to give me another appointment the next day .I am very happy and grateful ?

Beware! they will propose lots of tests and prescription, multiple review, total of almost 1k, and when I go to another vet, I was suggested to change the food and wala, problem solved. Do u think the vet at Mt.P Changi did not realise the problem lies in food? Or they just trying to up-sell?

We did a walk-in due to an suspected emergency but was later found to be a false alarm. My wife and me were really disappointed with the vet prognosis, as a vet if you can show a client an Xray of a dog's abdominal whom we suspected an ingestion of a whole tennis ball and said "I can't really see the tennis ball, it may be there but block by the rib-cage" if an Xray can't see a foreign object that big, then what's the purpose of me paying 2 shots for?? The vet "inexperience" is an understatement. After the Xray with no tennis ball insight in her stomach, how can the vet still suggest that we run all the unnecessary tests....they are really experienced in toying with the client's worried state of emotions by recommending all the useless tests and procedures till the stage of preparing my furbie for an IV drip just in case she need a GA for her scope or surgery at their hospital if needed, it's really not very ethical just to earn that extra bit, when they jolly well know that she can be just placed under home observation for a night before further actions to be taken when we broke the news of the tennis ball was found by my daughter under the sofa at home....when the Xray result shown negative of any ingested tennis ball, and most likely there isn't any action needed after the Xray.... Before we left, they still said will call at the end of the day to check-in on her condition and ask us the return tomorrow for another scan..., oh I think they already know nothing serious, hence no checking in call was made...don't treat your customer this way... there are a lot informations we can source out there....if there's zero star to rate it, I will choose it, anyway, will be our final visit to this changi road branch

A bit more expensive than other vets but the guys do an amazing job with your fur babies. Plus there is a branch all over and keep records of past visits.

It has a nice comfy area for my pet and the staff was jovial and professional

I really like this clinic. I had come to Mount Pleasant based on a recommendation from my Ryde driver. The support staff in this Changi branch are polite, pleasant and helpful, and the vets are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. One of my cats see Dr. Colin and one other sees Dr. Eric. I really like that they would always take time to patiently answer my queries, and would always try to help me understand the science behind the medical issues my cats have - i feel that this is how a medical consultation should be - i.e. a dialogue. The fees are also very reasonable. I wanted to write this review to recognise the good quality of their service. Thank you!

The staff and vets here have been nothing but great and very supportive. They have been seeing all our rescued cats with a discount and are very helpful and friendly. Updates were also frequent and also given when asked. Thank you so much team ❤️ keep up the great work
