β β β β β Brought my dog there today for the first time and I was met with a lot of kindness and patience from the staff there especially Dr. Jane Teo with her bubbly personality. Thank you very much for putting me at ease and making my boyβs experience there an easy and comfortable one.

β β β β β Usually request for Dr Mun Ling and Dr Jane. They obviously love animals and are knowledgeable about the care that my 3 cats need.

β β β β β Dr Lee and the counter nurse were very caring with our little Pom, and even stayed late after the clinic had closed to help see him. A+ for βpatientβ care! Theyβre definitely our go-to vet.
Dr Jane Teo is also a really amazing vet! Sheβs patient, kind to our dog, sure and very confident. She was very professional and really put our minds at ease when we were so worried about our little dog. Good job!

β β β β β My senior dog almost died upon receiving treatment at Mount Pleasant Bedok a year ago. Today, she is 95% healthy after we moved on to seek treatment at Animal Wellness at Star Vista and I can never forget the horrifying experience that both my dog and my family experienced at MPB.
These were pictures of my Beloved dog who almost died at the Advanced vetcare hospital, after receiving medical treatment at Mount pleasant Bedok for three months.
I was a first time owner and I just adopted my senior dog back January 2020, whom was diagnosed with Bronchitis. The staff at Mount Pleasant Bedok were really mean (except Dr Chan and Dr Jane) such that when I called to ask for further advise on why the medications were not working, the staff who picked up the call replied βHow would I know right, I should be asking you it is your dogβ.
My dog was prescribed by MPB with inhaled steroids and Oral steroids. My husband and I were informed on the potential negative side effects as well. However, her condition seems to worsen and despite multiple visits and calls, it doesnβt seem to improve. On my last call in May where I shared my concern to the attending vet that my dogβs cough seems to worsen again, the vet replied that unless we increase in steroids intake, there were nothing more they can do. We hung up and that night, we rushed our dog to Advanced Vetcare hospital as she seems to be having difficulty breathing. To our horror, the vet at the hospital told us that the steroids were worsening her health all these while due to immune suppression and she had pneumonia which she could die on that night if we didnβt send her in time to the hospital. They also asked why didnβt the vets at MPB check all these while at all during our follow-ups!
Of course, after our dog was discharged from the hospital, we sent feedback via email and call to MPB and no one responded until we sent another email 2 weeks later mentioning that we will share on our experience to the Singapore Specials Club group. The attending vet then called and tried to check in (didnβt apologise of course) and thatβs the end of our conversation. No follow ups after.
It has been a long year since then and at Animal Wellness Centre, Dr Lye managed to point out that my dogβs bronchitis was triggered by allergies and no steroids (inhaled or oral) or even medications needed as in long term it can be detrimental! Iβm still surprised that my senior dog has completely ween off all medications as he helped her to strengthen her immune system just by curbing on possible triggering allergies and probiotics.
I guess ultimately Bronchitis in dogs were rare cases. Should the staff be kind, responsive, and apologetic, we could let go of this incident.
We did not expect nor request for any compensation for any medical bills of our dog (for our visits at MPB or at the hospital) as services have already been rendered. We hope that this review could help to improve the service of the team.

β β β β β Dr Chan is a very kind and enthusiastic vet. Bought our senior cat to see her as we couldn't get an appointment anywhere else and am pleasantly surprised by the care and friendliness of this clinic. This will be my default clinic from now on!

β β β β β We would like to say A Big THANK YOU for your patience, compassion and professionalism in taking care of our beloved Rocky (15) & beloved Candy (16).
A special mention to our furkids awesome regular senior vet - Dr Chan Mun Ling. She is very caring, friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious. She always provided me with detailed information on rocky and candy during each visit. She also shared with me a lot of good advice. She took very good care of them for the past 15-16 years since they were just puppies.
Big thanks to Dr Jane Teo, Dr Lee yanyi and Dr Michelle Low who took care of them when Dr Chan was not on duty. All the vets had provided appropriate treatments and stabilised their condition everytime. They always strive to treat our furkids to the best of their abilities so that they are well again.
I always feel at ease as the Vet technician Rodarick and Tricia, vet nurses Shuyin,Jia En and Yiping were always
gentle and careful when handling them for bloodtest, skin scrape, x-ray, injection, medication and treatments.
Dedication and excellent customer service is also seen from the receptionist staff Jasmine, Portia and selina who will calls 1 day in advance to inform me of their upcoming appointments. Staff were also very detailed to go through the prescription everytime when I am back to replenish the long term medications or any necessary visit at the clinic for my furkids.
** especially grateful to Dr Chan and vet technician Rodarick for assisting Dr Chan in the emergency dental procedure for candy on 5th March '22 when her decayed teeths erupted and she bleeded till anemia which was life-threatening to her - Due to her old age with nine existing
illnesses since 2008 and the high risk of the surgery.
We are still very thankful to her regular vet Dr Chan Mun Ling,Rodarick and the whole team of staff of Mount Pleasant Animal Medical Centre (Bedok) who took great care of candy during her post dental surgery hospitalisation at the clinic till she was stable and fit enough to be discharged on 6th March '22.
She celebrated her sweet 16 with us on 16th March '22 (no more regrets.) Our little Candy passed on peacefully at home on 3rd April '22.
ANOTHER BIG BIG HUG AND THANK YOU to all the vets, vet technicians, nurses and staffs. You all made a great and dedicated team!????????β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
