The weekend finally arrived and as usual went window shopping to our usual haunt, IMM. Been a few weeks that I have been scouting around for a new pair of glasses. Went to enquire at almost all (seems like it lah) major optical shops. Decided to walk into another Owndays outlet, went to the one at Jurong Point and wasn't impressed but decided to give this one a chance. We were looking around and when we've decided on what we wanted, signalled to one of the gentleman working there for help. He assisted us and proceeded to register us but we had to register online ourselves as a member (this was something I don't actually liked but small matter) He then proceeded to show us our options and then we were given a number to wait for our turn for the eye test. Even before I had my bum on the high stool, a lady beckoned me to join here into the testing cubicle. Now, this lady, she was warm, had patience and understood what I wanted to say. I didn't feel that it was a rush job at all and that made the experience so much more pleasant. Honestly such a smooth experience. My buddy also had the same pleasant time like I did with another gentleman serving him. When all is done, we were told to wait for 2 weeks before our glasses would be ready for collection. It does cost a bomb but well, I guess the price point is somewhat similar throughout. My one and only grouse is that maybe, just maybe, the others would be a bit more warmer. They are no doubt professional but the lack of warmth and welcoming feeling can somehow be felt. That makes a whole lot of difference and that factor too makes the lady helping me shine. All in all, I am pleased and definitely recommend this particular Owndays over ther other few branches that I have visited. Staff : 4 / 5 Product : 4 / 5 Ambience : 4 / 5
