โ โ โ โ โ My wife is an old customer of Spectacle Hut in term of glasses and contact lens. We were extremely disappointed with the service of nowadays sales personnel.
We went on 16 Sep morning in search of progressive lens. The sales girl is unfriendly, lack of enthusiasm, lazy to explain the technical terms used by herself and only interested in selling agents' products, instead of assisting customers to obtain products of their desired budget. I believe company loses revenue when staff is only keen to sell agents' products and not house brand items.
We were challenged to compare prices with their competitors, which we did and we make purchases of two pairs of glasses from their competitors next door, Best Vision. Totally disgusted with such sales attitude.

โ โ โ โ โ Called several spectacle hut to locate stock of a discontinued contact lens. Only Sharifah from Westgate had the customer service standard and kindness to agree to transferring the remaining stock to the usual branch that we visit.
I think it is a shame that our regular branch refused to call the other shops on our behalf. I did not mind calling initially, but realised shortly that the other branches do not allow pick up without an eye examination as we have no purchase history with them. Shame on spectacle hut Clementi.

โ โ โ โ โ Staff refused to accept vouchers which are still valid. Cooked up excuses which doesnโt make sense. The staff that I dealt with was Unfriendly and unprofessional. Didnโt want to argue with his irrational excuses and left. Contacted uniquegift vouchers and were told I could still use them. Exchanged at Hillion outlet without fuss. Logged a complain to uniquegift , hopefully they can remove such merchant from their list.

โ โ โ โ โ Thumbs up ??. The optometrist, John, who assisted me was patient and professional although he was from Clementi branch. The team at this branch is friendly too and I'm happy with the quality of my new specs. Recommended!

โ โ โ โ โ Beware of poor durability on Spectacle hut's shamir autograph III lens. The coating peel off and become scratch mark inside the lens that block the vision over time. The warranty is only one year and is unbelievable this is happening on lenes!
