Have been hesitant to leave a one star review as I can understand how it feels to be on the receiving end as I am also working in healthcare sector. I usually collect my medication here but have 2 bad encounters with a particular staff. I booked an appointment for my 2nd MMR vaccine on 17 Jan, 6pm but had to wait for more then an hour and did not managed to see the doctor as I had to leave for other commitments. During the wait, clinic staff - Cath was curt and showed a lackadaisical attitude. Initially she advised that I needed to wait a while as she needs to check if the vaccination is under govt subsidy scheme. So I waited. This first wait was 20mins. When I checked with her on the status, she said she was still awaiting for reply (not sure whom needed to reply her) and requested for me to wait again. The 2nd wait was another 20mins. On the third time checking, she mentioned still no reply. At the this moment it was taking too long thus I suggested to receive the vaccination first while waiting for the reply. But she insisted that I needed to wait for the reply before I can receive the shot. So I had no choice but to wait. I waited. By then 1 hour had passed and I couldn’t wait indefinitely as I have other commitments as well. I told them I had to leave and come back another day. All these checks should have been done prior! Otherwise what is the point of making an appointment? When I stated my intention to leave she also did not try to offer an alternate appointment. Today I went to the clinic as a walk-in as I saw that the clinic had no patients. Cath was attending to me. And to my dismay, She informed that the reserved vaccination was given to someone else! If the vaccine was reserved for me and needs to be administered to someone else, at least send a text or call me that it will given to someone else. For my other meds that I collect here I do receive text messages informing me on it I’m glad that I did not pre-paid for my vaccinations so as I’m not stuck with this bad service clinic assistant. It is really unfortunate for Dr Kok to have hired this assistant.

I visited the clinic wanting to see the doctor on dates 27 & 28 of June but was unsuccessful on both. On 27th of June, a lady at the counter attended me and took my NRIC for registration. But after finding out the estimated waiting-time, i realised that i wouldn’t be able to make it due to my schedule. Thus, i asked the lady to cancel my registration. After troubling her with registration and the de-registration, i apologised. She then smiled warmly and told me that it was not a problem. On 28th of June, i visited the clinic again. This time round, a gentleman from the counter greeted me. Again, after registration, he saw that i was holding a piece of paper and question whether i was going to see the doctor for the piece of paper. I replied β€˜Yes’. He then proactively requested for me to pass him the paper i had and showed it to the doctor. The gentleman then apologised and informed me that only the resident doctor will be able to assess the paper i had which saved me 30 minutes of waiting-time. I would like to commend both on the good customer service!

I'm not one to leave bad review. Afterall, the front counter nurses were always nice and I never had any bad experiences until today. I went to consult the doctor and she was not the usual weekday morning doctor whom I normally see. (He's the best!) She asked about my condition and after I explained, she did the normal check on me lazily. Eventhough my tonsils were unusually larger and red, she insisted that its nothing. I wouldn't have went to consult doctor if its not painful. I even told her that I have been in pain for past 2 days and there is a small peeling on my tonsils which I was concern but she brush it off and told me to do swab test and that was it. Lesson learnt. To never visit this clinic on weekends or on days where the usual house doctor are not in. So upset..

Staff have always done their best to help. Be it listening to what the patient is experiencing or managing patient’s expectations during peak periods. Dr Koh, the resident doctor is competent, professional and caring. Overall, beyond medicine, this clinic has the human touch. Keep up the great work! :)

I was there for my booster vaccination, at this clinic is quite small, and there is only 2 staffs and very busy doing everything. One staff greet me politely and assisted me filling up a form, come for it when I completed. Well be honest I had observed they are very helpful to mother and child. and most patients.

Dr. Koh and nurses were nice, cheerful and helpful. Keep up the good work! You have to come early, there is a huge surge of people feeling unwell. The clinic staff did their best to ensure everyone was given a queue number. There were some people who were very entitled and demanding but the staff did their best to coax them to return in the afternoon with a queue number. It is only right that the staff have time off for their lunch as in any job in SG would have.

We frequent this clinic due to its close proximity to home and have experienced only great services by their main and locum doctors. Doctors showed great care and concern for our toddler and us and not once has consultation felt rushed. Staff at counter were always polite and pleasant. Thank you for the great service.

I don’t usually like to post bad reviews about a particular place as my intention is never to bring down anyone or tarnish their reputation maliciously. Unfortunately, I have to say that the standards at this clinic have dropped tremendously over the last 4 years since I started living in this area. Back then, there was a really good resident doctor (Dr Ong Qing Liang) whom my wife and I saw a few times and always had good experiences. Today, the resident doctor is a Dr Koh (rather lukewarm attitude and doesn’t show much concern or interest to explain things to the patient) but worst of all was the locum I came across on my most recent visit last week. I was visiting the clinic for sore throat and cough, and this old doctor (looked like he is in his 60s) didn’t even bother to ask me to pull my mask down to check my throat (like what most other doctors would surely do). Instead, he simply asked me what symptoms I had and proceeded to prescribe the appropriate medicine accordingly. When I asked him what he would be prescribing (as I always have a habit of double-checking with the doctor before leaving the room), he simply read them out one after another based on the symptoms I had informed him of. In other words, there was no form of verification or demonstration of medical expertise on his part. On top of this, he even asked me how many days of ML I need and when I told him β€œmaybe 2 days?” he simply said β€œYeah Ok” and started keying it in on his computer. Why does the clinic even need to have such a doctor on duty? Might as well get an intern to pose as the doctor and do the same thing as what this locum did! Oh, and not forgetting the rather long wait time I had to endure before and after seeing the doctor (to get my medicine) as well. In short, an appalling and disappointing encounter which will obviously be my last visit there.
