been visiting this outlet for a while and I must say the staff (bee ling) are patient and professional in their explanation, highly recommend. Dr Lim and Dr Sim are detailed in listening to our issues and lifestyle to better appreciate situation.

Alway like to go this clinic as the chinese lady staff name Irene are very friendly. Alway have patience with us, specially my kids like to run here n there. Alway help out to look out for it. To add on as well. You're are so rude calling people fake eyes lashes on the comment. Dont u think you're also very rude? Please read your comment before giving bad comment.

Tried to register to see a Dr on 02/07/22 at about 1215. Was told by the counter aunty that registration was closed. Previous information suggest that clinic registration closes 30 mins before clinic closing hr. Will be helpful if can update timing regarding time for last registration.

My family and I have been using Island Family Clinic Sengkang as our preferred GP and care provider since 2014. We moved away from the area but still insist to return for every healthcare need for ourselves, our children and our helper. For 3 simple reasons: 1. Accessibility: hours are timed practically and care is available whenever we need, day or night. This makes perfect sense! 2. Receptionists: I see some negative comments abt them, but I think patients should also be empathetic towards frontline workers. If only we knew how difficult it is to work long hours of stressful dispensation. This work is literally life and death, come on folks, a little empathy la. My favourite missy is Mei Ling - when i first met her I was abit scared of her, but she’s super friendly one. Just be a little polite when enquiring and I guarantee your experience will be super nice and memorable. 3. Doctors: Dr Lim Jiayang is super awesome and always empathizing with our needs! Dr Sim is very meticulous and assuring! My wife thinks he’s very handsome also. Dr Lai rocks it old school! If there is a GP nomination award, I’m hard pressed to find any other more assuring, empathetic and helpful than Island Family Clinic Sengkang. Not a sponsored post. I also don’t want to be sponsored meds, choy. I rarely give reviews but I feel like current reviews could have been more positive.

I read through the reviews and would like to chip in with my experience. The nurse (with false eyelashes) has always been nothing but kind to me and my kids. Doctors are helpful and caring too. But my recent visit marred my overall impression. My boy had been having high fever, body ache and vomiting. We brought him to the clinic in the morn and decided to visit again in the evening for a dengue test. I explained to the different nurse on duty that I wanted to get my boy tested for dengue. Her utterly unempathetic response to me when I said he had been vomiting: "He just need to wait outside LOR". When I asked what Q number I would be given (screen showed 1): "Number 6 LOR". After (1) insisting that we take a Q number, (2) waiting for some time and (3) my husband asking if she could exercise flexibility, we were then told the dengue test kit was out of stock. What was the point of insisting that we take a Q number when clinic did not even check if it had test kits available? I understand healthcare workers are under strain but if you are unable to show basic empathy, then pls consider a different line of work.

Receptionist with false eyelashes: I was there for covid booster and I made appt thro MOH link. I arrived and stood behind a short Q. She started shouting to me, "mummy, pls do the declaration form!!" I wasn't with a child, so I clarified, "me?" Then she replied rudely, yes you. I told her I'm here for covid booster and she continued rudely to say that I shld do declaration regardless. The issue is not abt filling the form, is her response to me. Later when I register, she had to ask some basic questions. She asked if I know what brand I was taking. I told her its a new brand and I can't rmb the name, she said with a (mocking) laugh, "you mean you even don't know and check what jab you're taking?" While waiting at the clinic, I overheard her conversations with other patients and family members. Her responses are fake friendly and sarcastic. Addressing people as "adik, mommy" etc but words from her mouth were not kind at all. She always make some nasty comments by addressing them in a friendly manner (using smile or laugh but it's always mocking). Also, I told her that I am taking some immunosuppressive medicine during the Q&A before covid jab, and she kept asking if I'm a cancer patient and whether I'm taking certain medicine. I check thro the Q&A and I rmb the answer for that Qns is yes. But I suspect she tick no because later on when the doctor check with me again, he look a little surprised that I was taking on immunosuppressive medicine. Overall its just appalling how blatantly rude she is, and with so many complaints on google reviews, nothing much has changed to her poor attitude.

Read through the reviews and realise how rude people can be. Apart from expecting a service, people should also understand that clinic nurses aren't just doing your registration and basically attending to your needs. In rushing hours, they have a lot of other things to cope with as well. So please ~ Irene, the one whom you people labelled her as "the fake lashes woman", is nothing but helpful and kind. Shes also very easy to talk to, and usually her advices are clear. Visited a few times during busy hours, and I've noticed her trying her best to cope with some patients who can be pretty troublesome. Other than that, I've very positive experience with Irene, the clinic assistant. Theres one session that ive visited Dr Lim. He is also very kind and nice! Patiently and addressed to all my concerns and worries. ??

My family and I have been visiting this clinic for years. We love the doctors and receptionists, especially the lady who wears the fake lashes. My boys enjoy chatting with her. The entire crew is friendly, always making us feel at ease!
