Due to covid restrictions of 2 pax per table is quiet. Now can get a clean table for the seafood . Cereal prawns are bit sized. Try the coffee chocolate beer next to it. Looks like stout, taste like beer

Many good food found here. But very difficult to find places to sit. Because many stall owners use the tables & chairs as their personal storage area.

After many years, tis place maintain status quo. If u r looking for sth exotic then tis place is a no no. The hawker centre is half empty. Boring. So I ordered wat came into my vision first, kueh chiap. The ingredients: braised belly pork, whole egg, steam fish cake, taupok, taukua, intestines & kiamchye plus a bowl of kueh, all for a mere $5!! The intestines were tender & flavourful & the rest were only ok. My partner had beef hor fun@$5. There is wok smell on the nicely fried kueh teow and some lean beef with fried lard pieces. The shops surrounding this hawker centre are the same few electircal shops, confectionery shops & yeah, the cane furniture shop tat are still standing after 20 years!! A sleepy neighbourhood, I would say.

I always came for the miced meat noodle, photo is the $5 portion. Now selling at $4,5,6. #01-50 stall name - lianji. Run by an old couple. Close on every Monday, there is a calander hand at the right side of the wall which will mark out their additional off days, always keep a lookout to prevent disappointment. Uncle doing his best to serve out the noodle, non stop action by him. Although the queue can be long to wait, good food deserve sometime to be prepared.

Cute and cozy cafe called T.LATO , found behind Alexandra Village Food Centre. The acai, ice cream and drinks there were so good and value for money! ?

If you like Soufflé, sweeT-Rex’s Soufflé pancakes at $5 is a must-try. The texture is as fluffy as the ones from Taiwanese cafe Typhoon. Ashes Burnt’s Burger is reasonably priced. The patty and fries are good. But the charcoal bun might be too soft. There’re too many food options here. I’ll be back for more!
