β β β β β Sanook Kitchen at Funan Mall is always packed and it was a bit of a wait for a table to open up. While waiting, the staff handed out menus and order sheets so that the kitchen could prepare the meal before sitting.
After sitting, the food came very quickly in succession. This resulted in some of the dishes turning cold before it could even be touched. As such, it was a mistake putting the entire meal on the order sheet. Tip for anyone visiting, Order 2 items first, then order another 2 only after the first 2 have arrived. This way, the meal will always remain warm.
Ordered the Feast for 2 (priced at SG$38.90++) which came with 2 plates of Thai fragrant white rice, clear Tom Yum Chicken Soup, Stir-fried Thai-style Kang Kong, Deep-fried Sea Bass with Green Mango Salad. The feast was generally good but unfortunately as everything was served at the same time, some of the food turned cold before it could even be consumed.
The Prawn Omelette was next and was the best dish of the entire meal. The Stir-fried Mixed Vegetable with Mushroom was ordered as there was craving for another vegetable dish. The final main ordered was the Sanook Crispy Fried Chicken with Mango Salsa. Ended the meal with 2 desserts, the Thai Chendol and the Red Ruby. Both desserts though yummy had too much ice that were packed too hard in them.

β β β β β Frozen chicken was totally put off with papaya salad. Rest of the dishes are edible. Didn't expect such a low quality food in Thai cuisine.

β β β β β The fish cakes were soft, tasty and went extremely well with the sweet dipping sauce. For the clear tomyum soup, this is the first time I tasted this kind of soup with a significant sourness and without any sweet note in it. Overall, it tasted quite refreshing and light. The price are quite reasonable. I've got a comfortable full tummy but didn't punch any hole in my purse. The ambience was nice, service was fast, social distancing was observed well.

β β β β β Looking for a halal thai restaurant which is affordable, this is definitely a recommended place for me!!
Ordered the Seafood red tom yam platter, deep fried chicken, sambal Kangkong and prawn omelette.
The food we ordered were quite delicious. Kangkong however became quite salty abit later on during the meal but other than that,no complains. Prawns in the soup were good and peel easily.
Place was crowded and there was a long aueue of people waiting outside. Food came quite quickly after ordering.
Staff present were quite friendly and polite. At first, the male staff was pondering whether my order could fit a small table for two ppl. However,he say he will try his best to squeeze the dishes because he understand we must be hungry already (fasting month).
Enjoyed the experience there.

β β β β β Visited for lunch. Enjoyable all round experience - like the environment and great food; prices are perfect for a dine-in meal. If I had only one complaint, it's that the Thai milk tea was too sweet; a less sugar option would be ideal. Other than that, would visit again.

β β β β β Dined there and enjoyed the good value of the food here. The seafood red Tom yam had a generous portion and was tasty. Green curry had a rich flavour. Omelette in my opinion was not the best but goes well with the chilli sauce given. Overall a good experience and quite good value for money.
