One of my favourite shio (salt) ramen. I usually prefer light based broth so this is perfect for me. Broth is very flavourful, noodles are chewy, and bamboo shoots are amazingly delicious. The place is just a small counter located inside Meidi-ya.

This place is the real deal, tucked within meidiya, zero to no gimmicky promotions, this place lets its food speak for itself, really love the dude cooking as well, he bothered to explain the different broths to my friend and I!

The miso ramen is flavourful. The piece of char siew is huge and comes with complimentary hard boil egg. The gyoza is nice. The staff tried their best but the place looks short of staff.

had the miso ramen which was the stalls signature dish. everything was pretty decent however i felt the bamboo shoots were abit too hard and endings of the bean sprouts were not trimmed, which was abit sloppy given this was a speciality japanese ramen stall. Pretty pricey at $17.90 for a foodcourt ramen, would rather have it elsewhere for that price. No harm giving it a shot though

This place is a serious hidden gem. I had the shoyu ramen this time, but I would personally recommend the shio ramen. The shio ramen soup has a light vegetable taste, which makes it very unique and refreshing. I find most ramen soup to be too salty and this shio soup is flavourful but definitely not too salty. I've tried my fair share of ramen in Singapore and this is one of the best.

Tsukemen is a must dish to order. The soup ramen is nice but Tsukemen is much better. One tsukemen is enough for two women, the noodle portion is very huge. The restaurant provides free boil eggs and fried bean sprouts as complimentary, no extra charge. You can get them directly on the table while waiting for the main dish. Gyoza is very delicious and juicy. I really like the potato and butter. Its texture is like mochi, but it is made from potato. Very chewy and delicious.

The hidden gem in Millennia and Suntec/Marina area for great ramen. If you prefer richer flavourful thicker broth Sapporo style ramen, this is the place to go. Don't be deterred by the lack of queues. I had the miso and my wife had the shio version. Both are definitely on my "can repeat" list for the robust stock, generous bean sprouts, bamboo, and sweet corn kernels. The char shiu is a bit on the lean side and the lack of fat makes it less tender and not the melt in the mouth style.
