Shabu Sai

Affordable and delicious buffet lunch @ $14.99++ per pax for 70min. However, the restaurant seemed quite understaffed. Took a while before we could get the attention of the staff - had to wait to enter the store, order food, refill soup base etc. even though we visited during off peak hours on weekdays. Will still visit again for the price and quality :)

Food is ok only. The mixed seafood platter is not fresh and the price at $17.99 is very X. The crab taste awful.

It has a good open area that gives a birds eye view of the mall. This place is usually fully stocked and doesn’t run out of spinach. The staff are very friendly and available, always around to bring addl order and clear plates to make the optimal use of space.

Shabu-ed at evening peak. Tl;Dr Not a good experience, and most of this review is going to come off as a complaint, but it honestly seems more like just a bad day than a bad restaurant so hey. Waiters weren't the most attentive with tasks and provided an empty bowl when we asked for sesame sauce (plus they almost slammed the meat on the table when serving, such was their hurry to get to the other tables). To be fair they definitely didn't intend to be rude; had a quick query about something else with them and they were quite happy to help. A while after we ordered the seafood platter we were informed the prawns had run out. Same thing with the Coca Cola (really? You ran out of Coke?). So there's a chance you find out after the fact that whatever you order might not actually be available. The food was all pretty decent and adequate fare for the price (70++ w/o buffet for 3, we ordered basically almost everything basic + healthy portions of meat), except for the crab, which was terrible and far from fresh. Don't get the crab.

Value for money for those who love meat, on keto diet best choice ! We both had several diarrhoea after the hot pot. We are so shocked until now.

Very affordable buffet with fresh ingredients. Love the fact they don't charge for soup base. We had a lovely time. Will bring our staff there for gatheirng.

Name is "Sunshine" but she will not be same as her name. Our siblings wanted to release stress and choose hot pot at "Shabu Sai Changi City Point". We didn't want to waste food and we ordered a bit by bit. Other staff members and food were all ok but Sunshine was different. She served us really rude and we asked her to apologize us because of her manner. Instead of her, young manger came and apologized. I didn't want other staff or mangaer to apologise me. I just wanted to hear "Sorry" from her. JUST ONE WORD ONLY. She denied to apologize and her manager let her go back home. I leaved my email address to manger and let me see how they take action on it within 24hr. Manager didn't let us paid for but I paid for it. Don't think of my complain is because of money. Please see the attached slip that I made full payment on 13 July 2022 18PM. She runied my pleasure dinner time and nothing can't replace for it. We all deserve to have our pleasant time to take a rest while we enjoy on dinner time as we all are stressful on daytime. Like those kind of bad manner staff will not be hired by all of employers.

Monday lunch at Shabu Sai with wife. Ordered the Wagyu Beef buffet set as the craving is strong. Selected Tom yum and collagen soup base. Overall still taste great for a steamboat buffet.
