โ โ โ โ โ fried items are crispy, served with balsamic rice and reasonably priced but chilli is so so only..To me, chilli is important for this dish

โ โ โ โ โ Too many food choices in this hawker centre. Just nasi lemak alone, I saw at least 3 different stores.
This store has a nice sambal chilli and prices are fairly reasonable!

โ โ โ โ โ TGIF.....Super bad experience at Bendemeer Branch with colleague. First time visit the stall. Firstly, we order at the counter, counter lady asked to repeat my order to the Chinese lady who is picking the food...She then shouted at me for saying 2 chickens for set 1, use hand to pick food & press calculator(unhygienic)....Keep shouting at my colleague who do not understand mandarin when she asked him which set he want. I explained to her that he is not chinese but she continue her shouting. She is superb rude... To Management: please train your staff to be more patient...No more 2nd try for us.

โ โ โ โ โ A delightful new stall at Tiong Bahru market. Super shiok nasi lemak at super value prices. Rice is fragrant, chilli yummy, fish is crisp, otah big ones. Hard to find any nasi lemak set for $2.80 with 3 fried fish! Most important fresh & tasty. Update on 27/4/21: itโs now 2 fish.

โ โ โ โ โ Dishonest Vendor, OVERCHARGING from listed prices
I have informed the Auntie that I like to order a la carte and not the set. Inform her clearly that I only wanted the fried chicken wing ($1.50) and curry vegetable ($0.80) which totals to $2.30. However, she said it was $2.50 total and when questioned why, she did not have a proper explanation and got angry. This is a warning to be careful of such vendors that does not follow their listed prices.

โ โ โ โ โ Set A chicken set $2.80. Standout is the crispy and well seasoned chicken. Well cooked basmati rice - individual and whole. Decent portion of ikan bilis.

โ โ โ โ โ Most people associate great sambal ? with great Nasi Lemak. The sambal at Super Shiok contains ikan bilis and is spicy, but not with the usual sweet after tastes normally associated with nasi lemak sambal in Singapore. While most reviewers rate highly on Super Shiokโs sambal ?, Iโm not such a fan as my preference is the one which leaves a sweet taste. However, the newly fried chicken wing was absolutely crispy.
Itโs good Nasi Lemak but not so super shiok, the stall accepts QR Pay but quite difficult to find as it is the last stall on the furthest end from the entrance.

Relatively new store which attracts long queue during my weekend visit. They have affordable Nasi Lemak set starting from $2.80.
Basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant and the fried items were freshly fried due to the high turnover. Fried chicken wing was well marinated and served piping hot. The star for me would be their sambal chilli which contained ikan bilis and onions. It was fiery, flavourful and spicy!
Glad to have joined the queue to try! Can eat.
