β β β β β Over priced for the food quality. Sake was not well kept - sour! Worst of all, they only had 3 sake glasses, and gave me beer glasses as substitute! I almost fainted hahaha

β β β β β Lack of one star because the biscuits on the shiratama azuki (matcha) is super soggy .
And they charge for towel and tap water !

β β β β β Sushi Tei's seasonal menu is always full of surprises! This time we tried the Chef creation and it did not disappoint! Waitstaff are friendly, attentive and receptive to feedback!

β β β β β Been to this branch a few times before, when it was at its previous location, round the corner in the small mall. Have to say, despite the nice and new decor, convenient iPad ordering system, open kitchen concept, the dining experience has really declined. The food was alright, edible but nothing to scream about. The service was disappointing, as I was seated at a really tiny table that could not accommodate the dishes I ordered. It was such a tight fit that despite me requesting nicely to move to a larger empty table, no one wanted to assist me in that. The rationale being reserved or meant for 4 was thrown my way. I was quite insulted when a walk in party of 1 was shown to a 4 seat table, ordered ate and left being all comfortable and spread out while i was stuck playing Tetris with the plates.

β β β β β Fresh sashimi platter, warm bowl of charcoal noodle with pork, and sushi that is awesomely paired with mango and prawn, creating a sweet seafood treat to your tastebuds.
Service is excellent, not as packed, and worth the repeated visit especially during lunch hour - look out for their lunch menu!

β β β β β First time here, service is prompt. We order from an iPad so itβs very efficient and doesnβt take long. Ordered the wagyu beef on hot platter and their well known rice rolls, as well as crab chawanmushi. Wagyu is not super spectacular but chawanmushi is pretty good.

β β β β β Good food. Particularly love the mixed sashimi though slices too big to go in one mouth. The hard yakitori pieces could have been less cooked for better texture. Ramen broth is flavourful. Chawanmushi is a bit watery, isn't it? Staff attentive. Clean tables and inside. Good on the whole. Thank you.

β β β β β This was a great atas restaurant to go at West Coast Plaza. Needless to say, we were repeat customers. The best time to go was off peak. There was always a long queue at peak hours. Food was great and value for money ? ?, at restaurant price. Our favourite was clam soup, Asari Miso Soup and Taiyaki Ice Cream. We also enjoyed the Chirashi Don, Salmon Don and Chicken Karaage. Big fresh juicy raw salmon, ???. It was hard to find such thick slices now.
