★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this ban mian; its taste and ingredients are closer to the KL style, except they did not use mani cai. They give spinach instead, and I add it to the small bowl of soup. I do not recall whether their chilli paste is nice, but it is not the KL style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the chilli ban mian. Would have loved it more if the chilli was spicier or more. Overall still a delicious bowl of noodles!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Value for money! Ordered their speciality Chili ban mee and it was lovely. The spice kicks in after awhile. The minced meat is not too fatty and the noodles are handmade and perfectly al-dente (impressive!). Can use CDC voucher here too! Worth a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Speciality Dry Chilli Noodle ($5). This KL chilli ban mee contains
a poached egg, black fungus, minced meat, fried shallots as well as a piece of beancurd skin. You get to choose your level of spiciness from ‘xiao la’ to ‘zhong la’ to ‘da la’. I consider myself a person who has quite high spicy tolerance but ‘zhong la’ was indeed quite spicy and after a few mouthfuls I had to get a drink to diffuse the spice.
The noodles were springy but I thought that the minced meat could use a bit more flavour. The sauce was also a bit sweet for my liking. Kind of disappointed that there were no anchovies as well…However, the beancurd skin which I believed had fish filling in them was really good and crisp.
Overall an alright bowl of chilli ban mian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice ban mian! I tried the mildest spice and it’s actually quite spicy for me already! The fried beancurd skin is ready good and crispy! Definitely freshly made. The owner is so nice and the noodle was prepared quite fast despite a queue. Would try again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short queue on a Saturday afternoon.
Got the dry noodles ($4) but felt it lacked flavour - vinegar did the trick.
The signature $5 noodles are more value for money, and seems to be the better choice to order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely shiokest dry ban mian I’ve ever eaten! I’ve been there so many times and brought friends and family too as I can’t gatekeep these fantastic noodles!! The owners are so so friendly. I recommend the signature dry chili noodle! If you can’t take spicy like me, ask for less spicy or no chili! The chili has some serious kick. The noodles are springy and chewy and QQ! I think it’s handmade too. Do support our young local hawkers who work so hard to bring us good food. I crave their noodles all the time ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their noodles is springy which i like, black sauce is not flavourful enough. I like their beancurb with fish paste, it is freshly fried, not dry. Their hei bi hiang chilies is not too spicy to me, not oily. The signature bowl with poached egg n chilies cost $5.
After my lunch there I bought 2 take away dry noodles without chilies for my children, they replaced the black fungus with fish cakes.
Support young hawkers :).
