Super helpful group of people working there! Was my first time ever trying a skateboard and wanted to get one that suited me, they had me test out multiple types of boards long boards to cruisers and I managed to find one that suited me!

Place can get packed and you can be forgotten. Best to go with friends as loners are usually overlooked. The more pax, the more you're noticed, more so if you're knowledgeable or have the sporty, longboarder look. Do your research on the products and read up on the basics of the sport first as you may not have a chance to ask so many basic questions from scratch (nor should you) due to the crowd. Or take leave and go on a weekday afternoon or an hour before closing time where I assume there'll be less people. There can be staff-hogging customers too and you may be left waiting for some time (if you're nice) or had to interrupt them. You can test out the boards outside the shop although I feel the tiles there are not really a good testing ground, especially for pure beginners. I recommend to try out the different boards even though there is a height/weight chart to board length as you may be surprised that the board you thought was not suitable for your height/weight, may actually be more comfortable or you can control it better. There should be a discount for lessons if one were to purchase a board or some bundle thing but no such thing, nor is there any marketing of lessons to beginners. It's more of a buy and leave kind. OVERALL: For beginners with 0 knowledge, never buy on your first visit when there are so many customers. Wait first and take your time. It's your money after all. :)

Store is well stocked, with staff ready to answer questions- without being too fake. I Certainly appreciate the authenticity for my shopping experience here. I came to the store with zero clue about skateboards, and left with what I feel is a great buy and what I needed. Keep up ur he great work guys ( and lady)!

Bought my new board online and after sales were fantastic. The board had some creaks and Jerome gave some advice over email + offered to fix it at the store. I eventually brought it to the store since I was in the area and the folks were super friendly. Everything was fixed in a jiffy. Too bad I couldn't stay to look around the store as I had dinner plans.

*exceeded expectations* I’m a student with The Ride Side and I’ve been with them for approximately 15 sessions. Enjoyed their lessons; trainers had good knowledge and skills of skateboarding and know what they are teaching. A huge shoutout to Isaac - thanks for being consistently patient and encouraging with us! Even though I attended sessions alone, the community was inclusive and didn’t make me feel left out (have attended lessons with other communities so I could make a comparison based on my various experiences).

Update: Bearings are slightly brown and had issue of squeaky trucks. Not too sure what warranty entails, visited the store and went self-service to wax the back trucks (staff too busy with new customers lol) + will just work with the current bearings. Board fell into water but was dried up right after with a full clean the same day so highly unlikely that it was from that. That being said, it is important to know what service we are entitled to as board owners given the price tag so worth checking and asking about that. Purchased a yow surfskate after pondering over it since last year, and have visited their store in the past before making my decision. Many boards available to try out with, which is especially important given the differences in set-ups as one should get a board best fit for their own body as well as the style of skating they plan to go into. Wonderful service, friendly and polite staff ready to answer any questions. All knowledgeable albeit busy because the shop can get quite packed in the weekends. Even more so with COVID and Singaporeans all jumping into wheels as their new hobby - good for them! The space is very nice, with a range of skateboards and longboards also available as well as skate parts, a ramp, and some space in and outside the store to try the boards. A little far but walkable distance, and worth a visit.

I am a Korean living in Vietnam. Delivery took a long time due to Corona. But I got my skateboard today. It's so pretty and lovely♡ very good price !! I will buy again next time.

Waxxxy. Thanks for the bag, Able to stuff all my essentials in it! Local delivery was quite fast, about 5 days? Shipping cost bit steep for light items. Regardless, online & inshop experience was good, plentiful of options. 100% RECOMMENDED!! Include a sticker for online orders next time please. <3
