β β β β β Happy Lunar New Year everyone. We would like to share our experience with our Tiffany & Co purchase so you can draw your own conclusion and make your decision. Just before the CNY, our family went down to Tiffany & Co. in the Ngee Ann City branch for a piece of jewelry in celebration of the festive season ahead. We were served by a lady staff who seems experienced and she took care of our queries. She was professional (though a bit cold) in her services - when requested, she did show us the different pieces that we were keen to try and examine. We eventually settled for a $3350 bracelet which suited our needs.
Just before packing the jewelry, my husband asked if this was the new piece (not the showroom piece), she said βyesβ and went ahead to pack into the box without letting us to examine further. I even asked her myself if this was the new piece that she was packing and she confirmed again.
We went ahead to make full payment without thinking of anything. When we reached home, we took out to have a look and realised there were mini scratches on the jewelry. We were shocked and slightly disappointed because we were expecting that this should not happen with a new piece of jewelry. We had to quickly drive back to Ngee Ann City on the same day, while changing our original dinner plan, so that we can show them that this was not scratches borne from our misuse straight from the box.
When I reached there, the original lady had finished her morning shift and we were served by a much more cheerful staff who promised to check for us. Alas, we were told they don't have anymore stock and we have to return in 5-6 days time. That was frustrating because that means we have to return again.
So we went home, followed up with the shop and when the new stock arrived, we had to cancel our work meeting and drove back to exchange. Guess what? The new jewelry piece replacement not only did not have any scratch, but have original plastic sleeve covering it (our original purchase did not have) - so you can draw your own conclusion as to whether original original purchase was the showroom unit.
We were even more disappointed because that means the shop had not been forthcoming and truthful, and wasted our times to drive back twice from our home location. Throughout this whole experience, there was not a single apology - not necessarily admission of any fault, but at least an apology should be offered for the less-than-premium experience expected of a reknowned jewelry brand.
I hereby attached the pictures to detail the experience. We also decided not to name the lady staff who served us because we do not wish to affect her career in anyway but merely wanted her to make changes to her actions. Of course, if the company requested, we will be ready to give them the information. We will probably not return to this same branch in our future purchases.
PS: after reading through some of the reviews, we realized our experience is not unique and there have been other reports on the scratches, lack of protective sleeve etc. That probably sums up the values and the commitment towards customer experience. When a company only relies on occasional service recovery, or in our case, lack of apology, you will understand why you can spend your time and money elsewhere.

Free cleaning for their products. I dropped off a ring to be reshaped and cleaned. 2 weeks and fantastic job. $60 charge for the reshaping but the cleaning job was worth it alone.

β β β β β I wanted to upgrade my engagement ring. Looked around and had a lovely sales lady helping me. A very rude supervisor lady came over to me and told me that she thought that it was "more appropriate" that I look at the "jewellery downstairs" (where the Sterling Silver is) I couldn't believe how rude this lady was!
Never felt so judged and embarrassed.
I bought my 3 carat solitaire somewhere much friendlier. Their loss!!

β β β β β Had a wonderful experience shopping here. My boyfriend wanted to get me a gift here during Christmas last year and we were attended to professionally by Selina. She was patient and her service was great!
We purchased Tiffany heart pendant with diamond. However, upon unboxing, we noticed that there's some scratches on the pendant and hence we went back for assistance on this matter.
Was served professionally by Selina again and she helped us to do an exchange for this. The necklace tarnishes / turns 'black/brown' easily as it is silver, went for cleaning twice, served by other SAs and the experience was great as well!
Thank you Tiffany & Co (Ngee Ann City) for the wonderful shopping experience!

β β β β β Won't say how the staff looks like but my friend and I have a bad experienced with one rude sales lady on the 18th of Friday. Was browsing casually in the store with a friend and initially the sales lady was being nice to us, we told her that we are just browsing around and she told us to get back to her if we need any help.
After several minutes of browsing throughout the store, the sales lady grew impatient, and kept following us. Keeps recommending the products to us, even though we were stating that we are just browsing around, and it grew uncomfortable overtime as she was being pushy.
While we were telling her that we are just browsing around ONCE AGAIN, I caught her whispering to different colleagues twice in front of us and that is being really rude. I can hear that she is clearly whispering about us.
I get that you want your sales but please at least remind your staff to be respectful and mindful of customers, if not you are giving a bad impression of the store and driving the customers away.

β β β β β Dropped my T-bracelet to tighten the lock, the sales rep informed me Tiffany would call and email me once ready for pick up in 4 weeks.
I have found Tiffany email 5 weeks after in gmail spam folder (anti fishing code hello, folks), none called me.
Came to the store at 2 pm and was not allowed to enter the shop since everyone is having lunch.
I finally entered the store hall after 15 min wait.
Kind advise to the store managers to increase the service level and rethink on managers per store availability.
