You can ask the staff to make the soup thicker after you have eaten the food halfway.
Always count the numbers of plates served after your order. They always missed something.
Call for booking as itβs always full on Friday and Saturday.
Tomato soup get burnt easily so remember to always stir it.

I think it is better than Haidilao.

β β β β β Worst experience Chinese hotpot ever . Have to rate it and its actually worth less than a star.
Food is normal. Service is extremely bad. One food can take 30 min to arrive. Female Manager just brush off customers saying its lack of man power. Have to repeat three times and they still forgot the order. Might as well I take myself. Also Female manager play phone while customer is making payment.
And hinted customers to eat faster.
Overpriced s*** . Please try if you want to experience a hell hotpot with many base and s*** the next three days.
I rather eat Maggie at home.WORSE CORNER RESTAURANT IN ORCHARD.
Expensive, untasteful and bad service. Do not eat here. Have to waste time to write review to say how bad it is.

(I personally prefer Upin more than HDL.)

β β β β β Great service and good quality food at Upin Orchard. Itβs my second time coming back! Love the tomato base and black pork!
Upin has lunch set meals at a discount rate and itβs really worth it! Around $20 per person during lunch where thereβs free flow drinks and sauce. Thereβs also free fruits after the meal!
For the lunch set, you can choose between two base, as long as it is below $14.
Definitely recommend Upin if you are looking for places to have hotpot around town!!

β β β β β A slightly cheaper version of HDL
I feel that the dishes are either the same good standard or just slightly lower than HDL, price wise is about 20% cheaper. Minus away HDL service.
Staffs were friendly and offered us fruits/drinks/icecream. We didnβt take the buffet, we ordered alacarte instead so the bill was ~$110 for 2 pax.

β β β β β Hot pot soup: ordered the tomato, spicy and δΈι²(recommend by staff)for $8. Only like the tomato soup base.
Drinks: order tea for $3.50 a jar. Taste like water. They just drop the tea bag in the jar filled with hot water. Till we finish meal 2 hours later, the taste of tea is still not there yet
Homemade Meatball: the inside still taste raw after long cooking.
The seafood don't taste very fresh.
They give out wrong order too. our potato and chicken didn't come up too. But was almost full so didn't say anything.
Beside these, the pork and lamp meats are nice. Very tasty.
Got a lot of sauce choices, fruits. And ice cream.
