★ ★ ★ ★ ★ was contemplating between several other pottery places before deciding on urth & phire with no regrets. housed in a clean and cozy studio, we went for a trial class and had a great experience. the fired results are amazing and worth the wait. alvin is a patient and helpful instructor; you'll surely bring home a piece that you're satisfied with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended a trial class on a weekend by Alvin. He was really patient in guiding through the steps of moulding the clay.
Studio was very bright and clean, nice fresh smell too. Location quite near the MRT. Would go again soon!
Recommended for dates or groups of friends!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing studio! Alvin is clearly very passionate about his craft and does a great job breaking it down for newbies. The studio is bright and clean and tidy. Really a lovely place to spend some time! Perfect if you’re looking for a fun activity or interested in picking up a new hobby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended the introductory pottery throwing class. The studio was bright and clean with sufficient space for everyone. The class was small enough for everyone to have sufficient supervision. Alvin was a good teacher and his demonstrations as well as hands-on guidance helped to build confidence for a first-timer. The studio helps to refine your work, glaze and fire them before you collect them in about a month.
Overall, a good experience for my first time with pottery throwing on a wheel. I feel encouraged to try again because it wasn't a disaster! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pottery can be intimidating for beginners but Alvin makes it so digestible and fun!
We took the Wheel Pottery (trial) class, which allows each person to make two pottery pieces and pick one for firing and glazing (will be done by Alvin and his team). My bowl/plate turned out perfect as an incense holder :)
