The food tasted plain and nothing near a decent mala xiang guo. Service was not good and most importantly the ingredient in the mala xiang guo that you get is completely different from those shown in the photo. I ordered a set lunch at the price of $8.80, (I know its affordable) and the ingredients that I get is a bunch of bean sprout, lots of cabbage, lots of kangkung and literally few (not more than 4pieces) thinly sliced chicken. You know that they are just clearing out all the cheaper veggies that nobody has chosen for you. Never gonna come back again. Worst mala xiang guo in Spore.

Ordered mala xiang guo and the lemon grilled fish. Lemon grilled fish was ok; The sauce is savoury and pairs really well with the fish. However sad enough, the sauce could not mask off the smell of the fish which I suppose is ningbo fish. But it's alright, it's a very decent dish. The mala xiang guo was horrible. Ordered a few countable items like the korean rice cakes, and the initial quantity that I picked did not tally with the ones I ate. Also, the instant noodles and thin glass noodles were overcooked and super mushy, which is one of the major turnoff for this dish imo. Not worth for the price point.

Good price. Use ShopBack can achieve more savings. Value for money and the meal was good for 2.

Went there for the lemon fish and it’s totally worth the price! and less oily and spicy, good for my tummy. Will definitely come back for my fish craving. 9.80 for half fish and 19.80 for whole first. what a steal

It’s DELICIOUS but super overpriced. my usual order of mala is like $20 for a few ingredients only, be prepared to spend more if you want a variety of meat etc. serving is decent though. the best part about this place is you can choose ramen over instant noodles! love it <3

Ordered Mala Grilled Fish (Whole) and Lemon Grill Fish (Half without Tail), worth for the price and serving portion is quite standard. Side dishes add-on are mostly $0.80 and no service tax is charged, even though their service is very good.

The lemon fish was surprisingly tasty! It was very appetizing with a slight tinge of spice. It was also reasonably priced at approx $9 for half-a-fish. Mala, on the other hand, was overpriced and lacked choices. Will probably only come back for the fish.

Very worth it! They are having some kind of promo and you can get the whole fish at $20++ We added some extra ingredients like instant noodle and pork belly and total bill was less than $30. Loved the kick in the mala. There is a choice of singapore taste or china taste and we definitely went for singapore. I think china taste would be more "ma" which is more numb. Would likely go back to try their dry mala xiang guo.
