★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time to try Kaya in SG. Toasts are very crunchy n with sweet taste . I like the cheese Kaya toast more, which is a great match of taste with the coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent and typical breakfast. The toasts are bigger than others. Half boiled Eggs are good. Add $0.60 for ice drink. Classic breakfast set with 2 toasts, ice tea and two eggs for $5.60. Ice tea is okay, sweetness just right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting staff and teamwork here, 2 prominent ‘’masters’’ who can make really good teh and kopi. There is this old timer auntie who has been there the longest time, kudos to her hardworking presence and remembering of orders despite quite direct and loud at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware of this outlet! The guy has zero respect for customers ! We were deciding what to order and when we went to the counter, he gave a sarcastic remark " finally ordering ".
I see everyone complaining about this fella. This outlet better buck up and do something about this guy.
Stares at customers as though he wants to pick a fight. Never coming back to this outlet again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My coffee was made by this beefy dude, I ordered a large cup of coffee but he made a small cup. After I told him he got the order wrong, all he did was to transfer the coffee from a small cup to a big cup and add more ice to filled it up to the brim! That is so not ethical, I gave this outlet four stars is because his colleagues were very attentive and made a new cup for me (kudos to them! Most people will not intervene). I really hope yakun management can talk to him to at least change his behaviour or something. Else it will just snowball to more bad comments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw a video about Kaya Toast and OMG it lives up to the hype, As a foreigner I would recommend the Kaya Toast set that comes with 2 soft poached eggs and coffee. The toast needs to be dipped in the eggs before eating. If you like a salty sweet combo you need to try.
