Only just knew it changed name to OAR seafood soup instead of Yan Ji, located next to the the mutton soup. Soup very potent and nice, taste better there than tabao, 2 prawns for $6 - are big n fresh not the dreaded chemically processed type. Only didnt like the fish slices to be dory fish. Wld have given 5 ? if its batang fish. Dory fish are soaked in solutions to whiten. Soup can be a bit on the salty side. Great if u have poor appetite :D

Was one of the last customers for the day and they had run out of fish, so they replaced with more meat/ fish maw. (Judging by other reviews that they use dory fish, I guess I didn't miss out on much though.) 2 prawns in the $6 portion, which were very fresh albeit a hassle to peel. Rich broth full of umami.

I'm not sure why this stall has only 2.5 stars but I like it a lot. Soup is rich and flavourful. I bought the crayfish soup for $10 and it comes with plenty of ingredients. There are pork, prawns and crayfish. I would recommend others to come here.

I was not sure which option to try but decided to follow those ahead of me in the queue and ordered the small ($10) crayfish soup with rice ($0.50). I felt the portion is quite decent - 1 prawn, 3 crayfish halves, 6 to 7 (lost count) fish slices, 1 quarter of a tomato and 4 minced pork meatballs. I was not impressed to find so much pork in the seafood soup. The broth is strong but on the salty side - I suspect that is caused by the marinated minced pork meatballs. The seafood quality is fresh. Overall, it was a fine experience; I would have preferred to have more seafood than pork though.

Soup broth is tasty but a bit salty, strong in pork favor rather than seafood. Ordered a $12 red grouper soup (which is double price of their standard mixed seafood soup). They gave only a few thin slices of groupa meats, 2 prawns, a big pc of fish bone, n rest of bowl was filled up with minced pork cakes. Feel like eating minced pork soup instead though the ingredients r quite fresh. Disappointing.

Stall is in the old airport road hawker centre. At first glance the menu looks impressive. Ordered the garoupa at 12 dollars. First impression, a little too much of the pork and too little fish. It's a seafood soup right? What's with the excessive pork? Nonetheless, the fish is reasonably fresh. Soup is tasty. Not as salty as the other reviews mentioned.

Not your usual seafood soup. Extremely robust and quite salty. I enjoyed the minced pork balls but didn’t really enjoy the bland, mushy fish. The prawns were really fresh but extremely troublesome to peel as the soup is really hot. They should probably slice the prawn for customers to eat more easily otherwise creating a mess and with sticky fingers. Granted, this is hawker fare and not some fine dining restaurant. Worth a try but I am not tempted to return for more given the many options in old airport road hawker. Less salty soup base, easier to peel prawns will be better. Just tried it a couple of days ago. Seems to have improved after changing name. Still very pricey but a different offering from usual seafood or fish soups. The hawker Centre is really dirty and dark at some areas. Need better facility management.
