β β β β β Best sukiyaki I have tried so far as the soup is very flavourful and the beef tasted fresh. It also comes in a set meal together with salmon sashimi and ebi prawns so it was very value for money. Would recommend as the food is really good quality for the price.

β β β β β Great dining ambience, it was no surprise that the food was served within 5 minutes. Really friendly staff that are willing to assist me with my orders. I ordered the YAYOI Beef Don, Asari Butter as well as a Peach cooler. The sliced Beef in their specialty sauce taste sweet, the Japanese clams were savoury and lastly the Peach cooler was refreshing. Will definitely come back again.

β β β β β Decided to go for Hitsumabushi for lunch so that I can have it in 3 different way to feel like I am having more variety in this meal. Itβs pretty shiok, firstly, to have it as original as it is, secondly to have it with the condiments and lastly to top it with the dashi.
I also ordered mentai mayo tamagoyaki to add on to my daily protein. This side dish is disappointing as the mentai mayo doesnβt look like it was being torched as it supposed to be thought the tamogoyaki itself look slightly charred. It was also pretty salty on its own thus i had to go with the rice from the hitsumabushi to finish them up.

β β β β β I had a wonderful experience at Yayoi. I really love the taste of the food and also the variety of food is great. The dish that had impressed me the most was the set meal with the mushroom and meat, with also all the sides.

β β β β β Nice portions, authentic flavors and definitely similar to what the outlets in Japan serve! Yayoiken is not a high end Japanese restaurant that does sushi or whatsoever, but instead, focuses on selling Japanese family style homecooked foods.
Miso Katsu Teishoku, Tamagotoji, shougayakiβ¦these are all the classics. The simple white miso soup is also delicious and tastes homely indeed. My son enjoyed the kids meal.

β β β β β This place definitely delivered a healthy and sumptuous meal at a budget. This pork lion set came with sashimi, ebi fry, salad and some pickles. Remember to top up for 16 grain rice for a healthier version!

β β β β β Nice place to eat at! The staff were super friendly and helpful, ready to advise us when we had any questions. The food was great too! Food was prepared quickly and delicious!! Would definitely recommend to my friend and peers to eat here. Steamboat was very full with ingredients too!

β β β β β Excellent experience , food was appetising and filling. Certain dishes like the kinoko tempura was very filling and worth its price. The matcha dessert was quite flavorful as well.
Service staff were friendly and polite, especially manager Catherine who helped us with ordering. Thanks for the pleasant experience! :)
